Chapter 7: Preparation of the Date

I opened my door to my dorm room and immediately saw Lulu, who was full of anger, standing with her hands on her hips.  Her foot tapped impatiently.   Her hair was tied into a ponytail and her sleeves were rolled up.  I wonder what she's up to.

"You're late!" complained Lulu as I tilted my head in confusion while walking into the dorm.

"Late?  Late for what?"  I asked and Lulu simply rolled her eyes like the answer was pretty obvious.

"I need to pick your outfit for your date with Jack, remember?" replied Lulu as I sighed with a warm smile.  Talk about crazy best friends.  They love to do things for you, especially on dates.

"You waited for me just for this?"  I asked and Lulu shrugged as she grabbed my wrist.

"Hey, I'm doing this for you, since you're my best friend.  Now hurry!"  yelled Lulu as she pull towards the closet.  As soon as I saw the closet, I stared at it with my widen eyes in astonishment.  The closet was full of colorful casual clothes, scarves, dresses, and costumes that were neatly hanged.  What a collection of clothes, but I didn't know Lulu was so into fashion, especially for a yordle.

"Are these all yours?" I asked.  Lulu rolled her eyes playfully and giggled childly.

"Of course it's mine.  It's not like I stole them from anyone because that would be weird," replied Lulu as she began searching through the closet.  But wait a minute, how did this magical yordle even get these human clothes?  I'm not even going to ask.  I tried on several outfits and it took us a while to search for the right outfit.  Most of the outfit that I tried weren't good enough Lulu as she shook her head in disagreement at the green dress I was wearing.  I sighed as I entered back in the closet.

"Why can't I just dress something casual because this is our first date together and I barely know Jack,"  I complained and Lulu smirked with thought.  I hope she wasn't thinking about anything with trouble because I have done enough trouble back at the Institute of War.

"You may have a point there," said Lulu.  Then, I heard something being zip, causing me to widen my eyes.  I quickly ran out of the closet and noticed that Lulu was going through my backpack.

"Stop!"  I yelled and it startle Lulu, almost dropping my red Jansport backpack.

"What?  I just wanted to see what clothes you packed in your backpack,"  replied Lulu as I hurried over to her and grabbed my backpack away from her.  I zipped the backpack safely and sighed in relief.  This was probably my third time sighing so far.  I place my backpack against the dorm's wall with gentleness, making sure that nobody touched it.  I gave Lulu a cold stare.

"You don't just go into people's stuff like that Lulu,"  I lectured and Lulu responded with a innocent shrugged.  I couldn't believe she's acting like nothing dangerous will happen.  She doesn't understand the event that might occur if she stuck her hand in my backpack.

"Why not?  Do you have anything valuable in there?"  asked Lulu.  My mood soften as I looked at Lulu worriedly.

"You don't understand.  Tibbers dosen't like it when someone's going through my backpack without my permission because he'll rage and turn into a giant flaming killing machine teddy bear.  I didn't want you to open it because I didn't want you to get hurt," I insisted.  Lulu looked down with shame and sorrow as she played with her fingers nervously.  For some odd reason, she looks really innocent and cute like that without showing her fake cute eyes.  I sighed and stroked her hair gently and she looked up at me in surprise.  Then, she blushed as she tried to hide it by looking away to the side of her.
