Chapter 18: Forming a Party

I looked behind me and noticed a woman wearing a black and yellow top with a skirt. She wore her black thigh boots and a cowl over her bright white hair while her cape draped behind her. She stood there leaning against the wall of the room with an amusing smile. My eyes widen at the figure, realizing who it was. She push her cowl off her head and walked towards me.

"Mom!" I exclaimed and ran over to her with a tight hug. Besides Quinn, I really missed the woman that has been taking care of me ever since Amumu and I came to her for help. I missed Ashe.

"Oh sweetie. It's been long since I seen you. Why didn't you tell me you were leaving the league?" asked Ashe and my face turned red in embarrassment as I scratched the back of my head nervously. I totally forgot about that. Well, looks like I'm in trouble.

"Sorry.  I thought if I told you about it, you wouldn't allow me to leave,"  I replied and Ashe simply chuckled. 

"So what is this mission on saving Talon that you guys are talking about?"  asked Ashe as Quinn and I stayed silent, knowing that telling the truth might hurt Quinn. After all, someone whom she loved has been taken away from her. I looked over to Quinn questionably and she simply nodded.

"Talon has been caught protecting Quinn and now they're about to execute him in 3 days," I told Ashe as her hands gently touched her chin as she thought.

"Three days. That may not be enough time for us to save Talon. We must hurry if we are planning to save him. I will gather a team to guide us," said Ashe as I nodded in response but my eyes slowly moved to the ground in thought. Something inside of me felt terrible, as if something bad was going to happen. I shook my head throwing my thoughts away, trying not to jinx it. "I already invited one member for our party." I looked up at Ashe in surprised. Did she knew this before hand? All of a sudden, a woman entered through the door as if they were already there. She wore a short black top which showed her belly, and long black tights. She had her daggers on her belt as her long red hair, like mine, hanged down. She had a sad look as her green eyes roamed around the room. She never told me how she got a huge scar on her right eye. Maybe it was something personal or secret that she was keeping. In facf, she was the one who trained me to move quicker and be able to shun po anyone. It was Katarina. But why was she here? She's a Noxus and if they catch her trying to help us, they're going to execute her like her brother, Talon.

"Why her?" I asked. Ashe's smirk as if it was a surprise. I have never seen moms do that before unless I don't k ow what moms are like.

"Well, because I believe this is the perfect opportunity for you two to actually bond together," said Ashe.

"Pfft. With this little fifty girl?" asked Katarina but Ashe quickly elbowed her and sent a dirty look at her.

"Kat! Don't talk to my daughter like that!" complained Ashe in a playful tone and Kat simply rolled her eyes. "Also, you two look like sisters with the red hair and pretty green eyes."

"So you're my mom now? How irony." replied Katarina and now it was my turn to send Katarina a dirty look. She was rude, very rude. I couldn't believe she was insulting Ashe as if she was some goddamn slave. Why did Ashe even become friends with her. "Can we just go now? I want my brother back," I saw her sad green eyes appear again. Talon must have meant so much to her. Now it wasn't taking away Quinn anymore, it was taking Katarina's brother whom she love. Why did this have to happen in the first place?

"Well first, we need to gather more members to the party," said Ashe.

"We'll be willing to go," said voice behind us as we turned around to see Nunu and Lulu who had her arm around his neck.  My eyes widen at them. 

"But you can't!  Lulu is hurt and you need to watch her while we're gone,"  I said sternly and Lulu chuckled softly. 

"I'm fine Annie.  Soraka found a way for my wounds to heal quicker.  She said it would be fine and I could move around,"  replied Lulu weakly and I could tell by her voice that she was hurt.  I must've have hit her really hard with the flames.  Lulu smiled at me warmly.  "I begged Soraka that I should go because Nunu and I promised to protect you.  You're our most important character in this story."  I didn't know what she meant by important character but it didn't matter.  All that matters now is that Lulu was alive.  I returned the warm smile to Lulu. 

"Don't push yourself too hard.  I don't want you getting hurt either,"  I replied as if I was a smart aleck.  Just then Ashe clapped her hands together to catch our attention as everyone stared at her. 

"So I guess this is our party!  Shall we all get ready now?"  asked Ashe.  Before anyone could answer, another interruption cause us to look at the door. 

"Is there room for one more?"
