You little turd balls. I WANTED TO HEAR WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT THE LAST CHAPTER. I took extra time on it. While I like getting comments, it saddens me when you guys only comment about updates.

SO

If you love me, GO BACK AND COMMENT WHAT YOU THINK BEFORE YOU READ THIS CHAPTER.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll update early if I get a bunch of comments on the last chapter and this one telling me your thoughts.

I LOVE YOU LOTS. ALL THE LOVE IN YOUR DIRECTION.

Recap:

"It's nice, isn't it?" Luna asked softly.

"What's nice?" I ask turning to look at her. She was staring at the river.

"The village." She stated.

I nodded. "Yeah it is."

Feeling a sudden change in atmosphere, I glance around nervously. Nothing had really changed but I suddenly felt worried. There was a different feel in the air. Like something was coming.

"You feel that?" Luna asked frowning and glancing around as well. I nodded in response. We obviously couldn't see anything wrong but we sensed it.

"I don't like it." I stated simply.

After a couple minutes, I really started to worry. I don't like not being able to know what's wrong. Not to mention we're in a place we aren't use to.

"Maybe we should go back the hotel." I suggested.

Before Luna had time to answer, there was a series of thunderous booms.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luna and I immediately jumped out of the swings we were sitting on.
We both recognized the booms and looked at each other.
"Bombs." Luna said softly.
Surely if the village was being bombed, they're under attack. Enemies won't be far behind. I pulled out my sword and faced Luna.
"There were obviously multiple explosions. Let's spilt up." I said.
She nodded and was gone.
"She's gotten faster." I said to myself looking at where Luna had been before.
I shook my head. Focus. There are much more important things to worry about right now.
I immediately took off in the direction of one of the explosions. Terrified villagers were screaming and running in the opposite direction. I continued to move forward, careful not to get trampled by the panicking crowds.
I feel like fish trying to swim up stream.
The crowds slowly thinned out as I got closer to the explosion site. Soon enough it was only a few stragglers rushing away as I passed through them much quicker now.
As I got to the place the bomb went off, I saw several building engulfed in raging flames and many collapsed houses. However only a few leaf ninja were around. They were rushing, trying to get injured villagers away from the fire and out of collapsing buildings.
"Help. Help me! Oh god, please help me!" I heard a panicked voice call out from above me.
My eyes shot upward to see a young child leaning out of a window of a building. She was on the 3rd floor and only looked to be about 10 or so. I glanced around to see if one of the leaf ninja we're going to help her but they were all busy with helping others. The girl looked down at the ground about 40 feet below her, probably gauging how bad the fall would be.
"She's thinking of jumping." I whispered to myself in horror. A fall from that height would kill her. Then again I guess the chance of making it would be better than burning to death.
The girl stuck her legs out the window and looked down again, ready to jump.
Concentrating my chakra in the balls of my feet, I raced up the side of the building trying to avoid the windows that had smoke pouring out of them. Just a mere 10 feet from getting to the girl, she jumped. As she fell by me, I jumped off the side of the building and pulled her against me as we both started free falling toward the fast-approaching ground.
Flipping myself around, I landed feet first. I winced at the pain that shot up my legs but still stood up straight and set the girl down.
"Get somewhere safe, okay?" I said to her. "And be careful."
And with that, I took off toward the hokage's office find out what's going on.
