Sasuke's POV
I glared over at the red headed girl sitting on the edge of my bed.
"No thanks. Why don't you just go shopping with Suigetsu and Jugo." I said staring up at the ceiling above me with a bored expression.
"But I wanted to hang out with you, Sasuke-kun." Karin said setting a hand on my arm.
"I'm not interested." I said glaring at her once more.
She huffed and stalked out the room. Finally. I stared back up at the ceiling again and slung my hands behind my head.
Why couldn't I get her out of my head?
She's diffrent than the other girls. She's just....her. I shouldn't be thinking like this though. I need to focus on my revenge.....but still. What made her so special? Why does she occupy my thoughts?
I sat up and ran a hand through my raven black hair. My stomach rumbled quietly. I need to get something to eat. Maybe I could find a little restaurant somewhere.
I stood up and threw on a clean shirt before making my way out into the busy streets of this quaint little town.
The shoppers rushed around looking at all the merchandise the venders had on sale as children ran around the people and shops, playing with one and other. I've almost forgotten how peaceful and happy living in a village/town is. It's been quite a while since I've stopped to just enjoy the peace.
Now to find somewhere to eat. I glanced around and caught sight of a small breakfast restaurant that smelled delicious.
A bell dinged as I stepped inside and looked around. It was fairly quiet and had a calming atmosphere to it. A few people were sat around eating but a specific person caught my eye.
"Mind if I sit down?" I asked looking at the paper she was studying intensely.
She glanced up surprised before nodding to me and setting the paper to the side.
"I thought you had things to do?" I asked skimming the menu.
"I did. I already finished it." She said siping on the cup of tea in front of her. I gave her a suspicious look and she returned it with a slight glare.
"If you can have your secrets, I can have mine." She stated, turning to stare out the window at the fairly busy street. Her eyes showed a deep sadness that I couldn't understand.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
She blinked in surprise and quickly smiled. "Nothing. Don't worry about it."
I sighed. "Okay."
There was a small silence before a waitress came walking up. She looked horrible with the thick layer of makeup she had pasted on her face.
"What can I get for you, sweetheart?" She asked me with a wink.
"Just coffee. Thanks." I said in a dismissing tone.
The waitress rolled her eyes and mumbled "Fine."
As soon as she was out of hearingrange, Echo burst out laughing and covered her mouth with her hand.
"What's so funny?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"She....looked....like a hooker." She said between laughs.
I chuckled slightly, rolling my eyes at her humor.
"I gotta get going. I'll see you later." Echo said standing up and started to walk out. She stopped and turned back to face me.
"Oh and Sasuke, you should smile and laugh more often. You look much cuter that way." She said before turning and walking out, leaving me to dwell on what just happened.

Well. Anyone else fangirl during that? Any shipping? What are Echo and Sasuke's secrets? Tell me what you think.
Sorry for not updating lately. I've been really busy AND I got a new phone so I've had trouble transferring my notes/stories.
The song on the side is an English cover of one of the naruto openings. It is AMAZING and so touching. Watch it :3
