Chapter 25: Damn Apples Again

"But Sasuke aren't we almost there?" Suigetsu asked me.

A sigh left my lips before I explained again.

"Yes we are but we're early. We'll stay here a day before continuing on." I said looking around the room at the other members of Team Hebi. Karin sat in front of me on the floor holding onto every word I say, Suigetsu and Jugo were sitting on the other bed next to mine, and Echo was perched on the window sill.

"Good. Now go do something." I said opening the door and shooing them out. All of them walked out except Echo who stopped next to me and flicked me in the ear.

"What the hell?" I asked rubbing my stinging ear.

"Don't be rude." She said before stalking out.

Wtf?

I shook my head at her and walked out as well, closing the door behind me.

"Sasukkkeeeeee?" Echo said, appearing out of nowhere.

"What now?" I asked frowning.

She stomped on my foot and I immediately yelled and pulled it away.

"What the fuck, Echo?!" I asked.

"Be. Nice." She stated glaring at me.

"Fine fine. Now what did you want?" I asked sighing and running a hand though my hair.

"I was going to ask if you wanted to go get some breakfast." She said yawning slightly.

"Your asking me to get breakfast with you?" I asked with a smirk.

A light blush appeared on her face.

"T-that isn't what I meant. Jugo was busy and the other two annoy the hell out of me." She said not meeting my eyes.

I chuckled and nodded.

"Let's go then." I said before shoving my hands in my pockets and leading the way outside. Echo followed closely behind me as we walked into restaurant next to the hotel.

Sasuke and I sat at the counter and ordered our food immediately.

"So what are you planning on doing today?" I asked him, sipping on my coke.

"I don't know. Just hanging out at the hotel I guess." Sasuke said shrugging.

"That's no fun." I said with a pout.

"Well what else there to do?" He said rolling his eyes at me.

"Your going shopping with me." I said smiling.

"Is that a command?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yes. Yes it is." I said with a grin.

"No Sasuke please don't."

"I'm sorry but this how it's gotta be."

"What did I ever do to deserve this?!"

"Paybacks a bitch."

"WHYYYYYYYY?" I yelled, walking out in a pink fluffy dress. Sasuke immediately covered his mouth and attempted to muffle his laughter.

"Because you threw another apple core at me." He said trying, unsuccessfully, to stop laughing.

"But but but....that doesn't mean I deserve this." I said running back into the dressing room to change back.

"Okay okay. Fine. How about a make it up to you by taking you for a nice dinner tonight?" Sasuke said from outside the door.

"Do they have icecream?" I asked giggling.

"I'm sure they do." Sasuke said with a chuckle.

"Deal."
