I didn’t even hesitate when I answered Harry, “Yes. Hell yes. All the yeses in the world yes.”

I didn’t even know he was holding his breath until he let out a huge sigh of relief, “God, I was hoping you’d say that.”

“I was actually thinking about sneaking down myself, but something has been holding me back- what that thing is? I have no clue.”

Harry nodded his head and looked out the window, “It’s the uncertainty of what you will find.”

A moment of silence passed between us, both of us probably had the same thoughts flying through our minds.

What if Alex is a zombie? How will she act? How will we act?

Will we have to kill her?

What if she didn’t change and she was just…dead.

“Harry, me and Alex have been joined at the hip since birth. She honestly is my other half. The robin to my Batman, the Hermione to my Harry, the Sam to my Dean, the Merlin to my Arthur, the Sherlock to my john-“

“Are you naming TV show characters?”

“No- I’m naming the best pairs in history okay?”

Harry raised his eyebrows and I sighed, “Ok fine! Yes they are mostly characters from shows but that’s beside the point! The point is that nobody can compare to Alex, nobody can replace Alex, and nobody will ever be Alex.”

Harry looked at me, probably wondering where I was going with this.

“Alex has always been there for me, and even though I’m hard to handle 99% of the time, even though I get her in trouble all the time, even though I’m not even half as clever and smart as she is, she has always willingly stayed by my side taking care of me- she has always loved me like a sister,” I take a deep breath,

“You guys sound like your lovers,” Harry scoffed

I shrugged my shoulders, “I think all girls are lesbian for their best friend- it doesn’t matter if we like guys- We love each other and would do anything for each other. It doesn’t mean we make out and all that jazz- I rather do that will Niall- BUT AGAIN THAT IS BESIDE THE POINT!”

“Then get to the point Kim!”

“Now I don’t care if we go down there and find a zombie- I will love zombie Alex as much as I loved the real Alex- maybe even more because I still was given a second chance to be with her even if she was different.”

Harry just continues to stare at me, he posture is ridged and his eyes are so sad, and that worries me.

“Harry, I need to know what your true feelings for Alex are before we go down there. I know you like Alex, but honestly we have only been together for a couple of weeks. If this were under normal circumstances I doubt your feelings would have developed as fast as they did-“
