Ella's POV

I stood in my room with my dress on looking at my phone, Jamie couldnt make it, this is what I didnt want I wanted my boyfriend there to walk down the stairs with me and tell me everything would be okay. I started to breathe heavy with panic when a thought struck me, I can just ask someone else. I scrolled through my contacts and called a few people. Sadly they was either, busy or out of town. I scrolled down some more on my phone till I hit one number I totally forgot about, Jonah. I cant just call him out of the blue and ask him to the ball, he'll reject me. I guess I could try. I dialed his number and waited for the rings, it started to ring and I was about to hang up,

"Hello?" his voice came from the other end,

"Hey Jonah it's Ella, how are you?"

"Ella! Hey I'm great how are you? Long time no speak"

"Yeah I'm good thank you, and I know things have been pretty hetic here"

"I bet, whats life like as a princess?"

"Stressful" I laughed, "How's normal life?"

"Just as stressful" he chuckled back,

"Hey, I was wondering, I have a ball tonight to welcome the new princess. I was wondering if you wanted to come?" I asked crossing my fingers,

"Sure I'd love to, be nice to see you again"

"Oh my god really! Yay!" I smiled, "There is one thing I really wanna ask you though"

"Shoot"

"Will you walk down the stairs with me when they introduce me, its a must that a princess has a escort or date or whatever you want to call it" I laughed,

"Ella, I'd love to, what time shall I be there?"

"Get for the palace about 8pm, I dont have to walk down the stairs till half 8"

"Got it, cant wait to see you later, bye Ella"

"Bye Jonah" and I hanged up the phone smiling, everything was going perfect.

Later that night.

"Ella?" my maid Glenda said while poking her head into my door to see if I was ready,

"Yes Glenda?" I asked while my hairdresser was loosly curling my hair,

"Mr Jonah is here" she smiled, my heart did a flip,

"Thank you can you send him in please"

"As you wish" she vanished. I breathed in and out,

"Hey take it easy you'll pass out" my hairdresser giggled,

"Sorry it's just I havent seen him since before my secret got revealed"

"Is he hot?"

"The hottest, I'm just nervous to see him" I sighed,

"Dont worry it'll be fine" she smiled, "There we go all done, you look gorgeous" she smiled and packed up,

"Thank you for doing my hair" I tipped her and she was on her way, I got up from my dresser and walked over to my full length mirror and checked out my dress to see if it had any creases, it was a long white one shouldered gown, on the one strap was a ruffled pattern and the same pattern is on my hips, for my legs there is a slit which is very revealing of my legs but not too sexy. I smiled at how I looked as I admit tonight I looked like a princess. I looked in my mirror to see my bedroom door opening and entering a very handsome looking Jonah I turned around and his mouth dropped when he looked at me,
