Safe Trip

Ella’s POV

Was it wrong to tell everybody my secret? My life will never be the same again my friends will abandoned me, Jamie will not talk to me, I looked around my bedroom taking it all in, my new life as a princess. In some way I was taking everything just fine, better than I expected because of the way I’ve been acting towards my new life. I couldn’t sleep a wink last night my thoughts kept going back to the possibility that I will never be the same normal girl again. As I tried to block out my thoughts my phone started to ring, I just picked up without looking at the name,

“Hello?”

“Hey Ella, it’s Elkie” a small voice came from the other end,

“Elkie, what’s wrong?”

“It’s just, why didn’t you tell us?” she sniffed and I knew she was crying, this was the last thing I wanted,

“Elkie please you have to understand I didn’t know till my 17th birth-“

“So you knew all these months!” her voice boomed,

“I had to keep a secret Elkie, you have to understand that it’s a big deal for my family”

“So you thought lying would be the best idea?”

“El please, I never meant to lie as much as I have, I’m sorry I know I’m a terrible friend”

“Yeah, you got that right” and she hung up the phone on me. Tears started to stream down my face as I threw the phone on the floor watching it bounce letting out a scream of anger as I threw it, all of a sudden my bedroom door flew open and in came Harry running to hold my little frail body as it crumpled to the floor,

“Hey, it’s okay what’s wrong?” he soothed and held me close, I cried into his chest while gripping on his suit jacket,

“She hates me, one of my best friends hates me, all the others are probably the same!” I cried,

“Don’t be so silly, she doesn’t hate you”

“She does Harry, I’m a bad best friend and I know it, I’ve lied to them all including Jamie!” my thoughts broke and I choked on my words, “Oh my god! Jamie what the hell is he going to think!” I screamed and reached for my phone quickly finding his number, Harry just sat there on my floor looking at me,

“Hello” Jamie answered,

“Hey, I am so sorry Jamie I never meant to lie”

“Babe, it’s okay, I know how important it is for you to keep a secret as big as yours, don’t worry about it” he told me softly, my breathing relaxed,

“So your not mad?”

“Of course not” I could feel a smile creep up on my face as I knew he was okay with my secret,

“Ella I have to go, got work, I’ll speak to you tomorrow okay?”

“Okay, have fun at work”

“Bye princess” he chuckled before hanging up, I could feel my face burning red as I hung up, I checked the time on my phone, 11:00am not too bad I guess.

“So whets on the agenda today?” I asked looking up at Harry,

“Well we have to see William and Kate off for their trip, it’s going to be a good one apparently”

“Aren’t you going?”

“Nah, someone needs to keep an eye on you” he laughed,

“I think your girlfriend hates me” I blurted out,
