Sasori was different from any other Akatsuki member I've met so far. He was so much quieter, calm and emotionless. Somehow a bit more comfortable to be around. It was like not knowing you had someone there but hearing his breathing made you realize, he was there.
"Sasori, would you like to eat?" I asked him, resting my hand on the door frame.
He turned to look at me and stood up, his eyes indifferent.
And the worst of all, I couldn't change him. He was like that. Unmovable, stoic. Emotionless.
I'm not sure what exactly sure what it was, but there was something about him... A strange attraction. I was confused. I didn't understand how someone could do that. Change you.
I had turned quiet myself, rude, maybe even bad. Sasuke thought it was some kind of phase. Similar to my period or something.
I served Sasori rice balls with a bowl of ramen aside. "I hope you like it." I said quietly.
"Thank you." He said back.
I sat across from him. I stared at him, my eyes searching for emotion. Any kind of sign he could be somehow be change.
"Hey, Maiko-dear." Sasuke came and served himself, sitting net to me. I looked up at him and almost scowled at him.
"You're so loud." I said and grabbed my plate, walking to the TV room. I threw myself on the couch, feet on the coffee table. I started eating with my hands.
Kisame was there, sitting in another couch, his eyes on me as he took a sip of vodka off the bottle.
"Turning into rebel girl, are we?"
I smirked. "You just called yourself a girl."
He scoffed. "Maybe you should like, divorce or something. It'll fix everything up with that little teenage rage phase you have."
"We aren't married, fish head." I retorted and took out a cigarette from my pocket, lighting it up. If Kakashi only knew I smoked... He would kill both Asuma and Shikamaru.
Th provider and the messenger.
"So you would just leave him? No cares, no papers just say goodbye and leave him?" He asked, a smile in his tone.
"It's my castle, I don't need to leave anywhere."
"So you'd kick me out?"
I turned to see Sasuke on the doorway. His eyes full of hurt, unshed tears and disgust.
He turned around when I didn't answer. I went after him.
"Sasuke, wait."
"I just-I cant believe!" He yelled as he stalked towards the door. "I can't believe I let you fool me! Three years! Three fucking years thinking you were a good person." He growled as he opened the door and stalked off.
I went after him. "Sasuke would you listen to me?" I asked.
He turned to me and glared. "What? Tell me what do I need to know that I haven't heard before? I love you? It wasn't what it looked like?" He snapped. "Please, you should know I'm so used to lies and plays to get more fooled."
I slapped him. "Look, I don't know who do you think you are to talk to me like that! I don't know who do you think you are to interrupt me when I talk. But you should know, I have not lied to you, asshole."
He turned his head to me again. "Then do you have a way to explain that?" He nodded towards the castle.
"Something like that." I mumbled.
