I woke up early the next morning; Tsunade didn’t particularly give me time restrictions to leave on my ‘special mission’. I changed into a brand new kimono, to please Tsunade just a bit. It was kind of cheery day today. I was going to get them three back, perhaps they can turn into a team, though I doubt Tsunade will want to.
I grabbed my bag that has been emptied from bloodied dresses and replaced with maps and weapons and some money.
I walked past Kakashi through the kitchen as I just grabbed and apple and ignored him.
“Why did you tell Sasuke?” He asked.
I stopped. “Tell him what?”
“About his family, Itachi, everything.” He said.
“He deserves to know don’t you think and Tsunade let me anyways so either way, it’s not really a problem.”
He sighed. “Are you leaving to your mission now?” He asked.
“Yeah, Sasuke’s going with me by the way, Tsunade asked him to.”
He nodded. “I know. I and the rest are going on a D ranked mission.”
I snorted. “I’m glad I’m not in your team. “
He smiled. “Me too, you’d kill the cat.”
I laughed. “Perhaps.”
I went to the door when he stopped me again. “Be careful.”
“Thanks, I will.”
I opened the door and ran to Sasuke’s house. His house wasn’t in the Uchiha grounds, at all. He lived in a house kind of alike to Naruto’s home though it was bigger, and obviously more expensive. The Uchiha clan left him with quite an amount of money.
I knocked when I got there and waited a bit until I heard someone lazily grunt and open the door.
“Hey.” I said and saw him in his Pj’s still.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
I frowned. “Hello! The mission, remember!”
He groaned. “I forgot it was today, I’m sorry. I’ll be right back.”
I nodded as I stood on the door. This was awkward. I was used on just getting in but ever since the...kiss, it just doesn’t feel the same.
“Err...Maiko?” Sasuke asked, adding to the awkwardness.
“Yeah?”
“Do you...um want to come in? I might take a while.” He said.
“Sure.” I said and came into the door. I sat on the sofa instead of wandering around like I used to.
He left into the bathroom door and I stood awkwardly as the shower went on and I heart the clicking of the shower door.
That was my shot up the couch and I walked to the inside of the house instead of the kitchen. I walked through empty walls until I found a door, I opened it and saw it was his room. The walls were some kind of cream color, the bed sheets were navy blue and it had a window looking towards the whole of Konoha, the Hokage mountain thing looking straight at him. I could see my house through there.
I heard the door open and I turned, Sasuke stood there with a towel around his waist and the other around his shoulders. He looked at me and stopped.
“What?” He asked himself as he saw me in his room.
I blushed. “Sorry. I-I just...”
He stood in shock then looked down to the floor. “Just go, don’t apologize.”
