Begin Again (Third Book To The Tale of Princess Maiko) (Naruto Fanfic)

The Meeting

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Princess Maiko." Danzo said with a polite nod.

"Danzo." I said, venom in my voice.

I didn't quite understand why anyone in this room would accept Danzo to be here. No one like him. Even Sai seemed to tense when he saw him.

I looked at Tsunade with a 'Why didn't tell me that!!??' look.

I sat next to Gaara's empty seat. Sai stood while he let Karin take the only last empty. What a gentleman.

"Let the meeting begin?" I asked.

I grabbed Karin's hand under the table.

"Alright. Now that Princess Maiko is finally here, we can start the meeting." Danzo said.

"I had asked to start the meeting already, Lord Danzo. There's no need to annouce it's begining again." I said icily.

Karin tightenned her hold on my hand. Danzo glared at me with his one of his eyes and I smiled. Everyone in the table was either looking at me or at him.

"Alright so how about we give out the main topic of this meeting? Forget the suspense." I said as I let go of Karin's hand to fold my hands on the table.

"The topic, Princess, is you." Danzo said.

"Is it? What did I do?"

"Well, you see, Princcess-" Danzo started but then I snapped my head at him.

"I was not asking you. There's more than two people in this meeting." I snapped. "Raikage, may I know?" The Raikage smirked along with his brother next to him.

"Well apparently, some of your...teamates, I think have been spotted with different kind of people and Lady Tusnade here claims not to have a clue about it."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Some Chuunin from Konoha have been seen with some...criminals and we are eager to know if you would know anything about it." An old short man said.

"Well, I'm really not sure. may I know who you have spotted and with what criminals?" I asked.

Danzo brought up a folder and threw it at me. I got it and opened it. "Err...Uzumaki Naruto...Hyuuga Hinata, Nara Shikamru."

I turned to Sai with disbelieved expression, almost humorous. "Really? From all the people in Konoha...you decided to blame these?"

I laughed. "Uzumaki Naruto is the biggest idiot on earth. The last thing I see him doing is doing some kind of betrayal. He wants to become Hokage for God's sake." I said with a scoff. "Hinata.." I snorted. "She faints at the sight of Naruto." I said sternly. "Faints."

"Now let's keep going with Shikamaru." I smiled. "Did you know he has an IQ higher than 200? He's a genius! He has the mind of any kind of serial killer or any other thing you guys think he does."

Everyone leaned in to see what I've got to say. "He spends his time watching clouds. He's the biggest lazy ass in history. He's loyal to his village, believe me. Call me a liar but I'm sure he is. His entire clan is loyal to Konohagakure."

Everyone looked at each other then I looked at te rest and saw a picture of Deidara and Saori. "Who are these?"

"Those, are from an organiation named Akatsuki."

"Akatsuki?" I asked.

"Yes, they...capture people, we believe. We aren't quite sure what they do."

"And where did you find them?" I asked, looking perplexed.

"We found them both on your roof, more than twice."
