F I V E

I was finally seeing Jack again today. He was staying in a hotel and gave me the number of his room.

I made it into the hotel unnoticed and when up to jacks room. I knocked on the door and it was opened by a very smily Jack

"Babe" he says hugging me tight

I realise from the hug and walk in. We go sit on the couch when a blonde walks in.

"Jack where's my-" he stops when he sees me

"Jess I heard a lot about you" he says smiling. "I'm Jack. Jack Johnson."

"Same here! Nice to meet you" I smile. He walks off leaving me and Jack alone again

"You were serious when you said you didn't get starstruck" he laughs

"Yep"

"Sorry about what I said. It was rude of me" he shrugs and pulls me into a hug

"So...." It was a bit awkward because I had no idea what we were are we dating or just friends

"Jack, are we dating." I suddenly blurted out.
"Oh um no I don't think so." He scratched his neck awkwardly.
"Oh okay..." I trailed off
"Well I'm glad we can be friends." Jack smiled.
What?!?? Friends?!?!

"Um yeah friends." I slightly smiled

"Um I'm gonna get going." Jess said.
She's been acting a little weird ever since I'm glad we can be friends.

Don't get me wrong. I like Jess.
A lot!
But I wanna ask her out the right way. Not just in a hotel room.

"Okay bye Jess. Text me later." I gave her a hug as she walked out.

Now to start planning my surprise.
