"But Chloe I don't want to go to the beach." I groaned.

"Come on Jess you can't stay in your room forever." She laughed.

"Fine!" I smiled.

Jack and I have been doing good. Friends though. I learned to live with it.

I got on a bathing suit and my beach bag.

"Alright Chloe just texted me. She and Jess are on their way now." I smiled to Johnson who was standing next to me.

"Good luck dude. I'm gonna head home. Just text me if you guys are coming back to our place so I can you know leave just in case anything happens." He smirked and patted my back.

"Jack, I'm just hoping she says yes. I'm not gonna rush her into that if she doesn't want to."

"Bro you're so whipped." He laughed.

"You're just jealous!" I laughed back.

"Bye G!" He yelled as he walked to his car and I just waved.

Jess

"Is that Jack" I look out the window as we get to the beach

"No...." Chloe say slowly

"Why didn't you tell me"

"Because then you wouldn't have come you be really weird with him lately" Chloe says parking

"You're the worst" I chuckle at her

"Jess" Jack says walking over

"Hi" I say halfheartedly

"Ok look there's Johnson see ya" Chloe says walking off. She was a terrible a lier

"Are you okay" Jack says looking in my eyes

No not really I have a really big crush on you and I can't tell you because you just want to be friends.

"I'm fine" totally lying

"I've been wanting to tell you something but I was nervous so here goes.." He takes in a deep breath before continuing "I really like you, you make feel happier when I'm sad and I better off with you so I was wondering... If you want like to be um my girlfriend maybe?" he said really nervously.

I stood there frozen, did I heard him correctly. I was totally shocked.
