S I X T Y - O N E

Jess

I sighed as I put the last picture frame in the box. I laid down on my bed until my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"
"Hello, is this Jessalyn Santiago?" a woman's voice on the phone said.
"This is,"I said more as a question
"Hello Jessalyn, I'm Mrs Winchester, the dean of Juliard."
"Oh hello Mrs. Winchester, how can I help you," I replied
"Well, I'm since you live in LA and Juliard is in New York we would like you to come in a bit earlier. You are so very talented that we want you to adjust quickly so once classes start you will be ready." Mrs Winchester explained
"Oh, um okay? How much earlier?" I asked
"We would like you to come in 2 weeks,"
"Mrs Winchester I already made my flight for next month, I don't know if I could change that," I shook my head, standing up while starting to walk around the room
"Oh we've tooken care of that and booked you a new flight for Monday evening, in 2 weeks time"
"Oh um okay, I guess I'll see you then,"
"Have a nice day Miss Santiago,"
"You too," I said and hung up the phone

Jack

"2 weeks!" I said surprised as Jess explained she would be leaving for Juliard 2 weeks early

"My exact reaction," she mumbled

"Babe, it's so soon," I said

"I know Jack and I'm sorry. They want me to get used to the campus," she sighed coming up to me and giving me a hug

"I just don't want us to end, I don't think I could live without you Jess," I said kissing her forehead

"Oh Jack," she said lifting her head up and kissing my lips

I pull back smiling "We still have just over 2 weeks till I leave,"

"I wish it was more like 2 years" I joke holding her closer

"Me too" she sighed and pulled away but I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.

"Hey Johnson isn't home" I smirked

"For how long?" she smirked back getting closer

"The whole night," I said

"Well we are lucky aren't we," she laughed

"Yup," I said and pushed her down on the bed.

"Jack I'm back" Johnson shouts through the house as I lay in bed with Jess

We both jump up, putting on the rest of our clothes on at high speed

I leave Jess in my room and go out to see Johnson

"What happened to your hair" he laughs as I walk in

"Nothing" i quickly put my hands through it trying to tidy it

"Finally a time where Jess isn't here we can hang out"

"Actually-" he cuts me off angrily

"Of course when isn't she here"  Johnson rolls his eyes

"Dude" I start

"You know what I can't wait till she goes to college, maybe I'll get my best friend back" he snaps walking out just as Jess walks out of the bedroom her eyes wide.

You guys we have no idea where this book is actually going right now, but we are at the point where it's so close to the end you just want to finish it. Anyway hope you're enjoying it and thanks for still reading it means a lot.
