"S!" I screamed when Serena opened the door
"Jess!" she yelled back and hugged me
"Oh my god how have you been?" she asked excitedly
"I'm great! What about you," I asked
"I'm awesome! Now the real question, you and the Jack Gilinsky?" she smirked
"Yeah we're pretty serious," I blushed at the floor
"So I'm having a masked ball party this weekend, you'll still be in town right?" she asked
"Yeah! A famous Serena Vanderwoodsen party? Wow S, we haven't talked in a while but you're the same person," I laughed
"Why don't you invite Jack to be your date, call him now!" she said
"Okay," I pulled out my phone and called Jack
"Hello?" he asked
"Hey babe it's me! I'm at Serena's, I was wondering" I started but then I heard a voice in the background. A woman's voice
"Um Jack, who's that?" I asked confused
"Oh just Chloe," he said nervously
Then Chloe burst through the door
"Oh my god! Serena! You didn't tell me your in town!" She said rushing in
"So you were asking me a question," he asked
"Oh yeah um never mind, and I'm gonna stay with Serena for a little while, we need to catch up," I said coldly and then hung up
"He was with another girl!" I yelled "And he pretended it was Chloe!"
"I left right after you did, and I didn't see any girl," she said confused
"It's fine honey! We will find you another date," Serena smiled
Jack
"Hold on v let me take this," I said seeing that my phone was ringing
"Hello?" I asked
"Hey babe it's me! I'm at Serena's I was wondering-"
Then Vanessa walked in
"Yo Gilinsky you hungry? I know this great breakfast place!" she said excitedly
"Um Jack, who's that?" Jess asked confused
"Oh just Chloe," I said nervously. I can't let Jess think I cheated on her again
"So um you were asking me something?" I said changing the subject
"Oh yeah um never mind, and I'm gonna stay with Serena for a little while, we need to catch up," she said coldly and then hung up
"Hey V! You still want to go out for breakfast?" I asked
"You're on Gilinsky!" she laughed

"So how was Vermont?" I asked
"Fun, but not as fun as Omaha, with you," she looked down
Tad uncomfortable
"I've been meaning to tell you something" she seemed nervous so I guess it wasn't a little thing
"I'm in love with you I have been for a while" she suddenly says
