"Jess, honey can you get the mail?" my mom yelled from upstairs
"Yeah!" I yelled back
I walked outside and opened our mailbox.
"Mom,Mom,Dad,Dad,Stella,Me!!" I yelled at the end when I got to me
A boy with bleach blonde hair walked by and laughed.
"Sorry, I'm waiting for college acceptance letters and I got really excited," I blushed but then realized that I really didn't have to explain myself to this boy I didn't know
"Don't worry about it, I'm doing the same, I'm Sammy by the way," he smiled.
I looked back down at the letter and saw it was from Juliard!
"Oh my god," I whispered
"Um are you okay?" Sammy asked
"Yeah it's just this letter. It's from Juliard, my dream college," I smiled looking up at him
"Hey I applied there too! You sing?" he smiles
"Uh kinda," I smiled
"Well I hope you get in!"
"Same to you," I said back and he started walking away
"You never told me your name" he smirked turning back
"It's Jess" i nod
"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl" he says making me blush
"I got to go, see you around beautiful" he winks one of his beautiful brown eyes and walks off
Snap out of it Jess you have a boyfriend
I walk back into the House to see mum in the kitchen
"My letter came" I take a deep breath passing it to her
"Honey don't you want to open it" she laughs
"You do it"I laugh giving it over to her
She scans over the letter and looks up with a bright smile
"You're in"
I rush over hugging her tightly
"I have to tell Jack" I rush upstairs to get my phone
Me: Jack I got in !!!!!!!!!!
Jack❤️😘: well done babe I'm so proud
Me: I'm really happy
Jack❤️😘: come over
Me: I can't have to look after Stella she's having Alex over for her science project come over here
Jack❤️😘: it's so cute Stella has a crush and yeah sure I'll come over
Me: she said Alex has been acting weird since I said that
Jack❤️😘: I know guys it's so clear he likes her
Me: I'm telling her ttyl love you 😘
Jack❤️😘: love you too
I put my phone in my pocket and go into the kitchen
"So Alex" I jump on the counter by her
"You know he likes you to that's why he's acting weird" I smirked
The doorbell rings "that's him, go upstairs" she says pointing to the door
I wink at her and make my way up the stairs
Stella
"Hi Stella" he keeps his head down while he talks
I take him into the kitchen and start painting the volcano
I feel something wet on my nose and turn to see Alex's smug face
"You didn't" I wipe my nose and wipe the orange paint across his cheek
We start putting paint on each other, while cracking up laughing
"You got some on her cheek" he softly wipe my cheek with his thumb
We lock eyes and look at each other for a few seconds till he breaks the contact
"Let's carry on" he fake smiles

It had been about 15 minutes and it was total silence
"Alex" I say making him turn to me and I wipe paint on his forehead
He grabs my wrist and pulls the paint brush out of my hand laying it on the table
"Say sorry" he jokes
"No" I give him smug grin
He grabs my waist tickling me
I push his hands off and turn around coming face to face with him
"For heavens sake just kiss me" I put my hand at the back of his neck pulling him to me
He takes a few seconds to respond but kisses me back with the same amount of force
"Woah," I hear a voice say and we pull apart immediately
I look up to see Jack smirking at us. Alex's cheeks turn red.
"Jess is upstairs," I say through gritted teeth and wide eyes signaling him to leave
"Right, you kids have fun, don't do anything I wouldn't do!" he raised his eyebrows then winked at me when Alex turned away
