Shelby's POV

"Do you have everything you need?" I asked Steve for the millionth time. He leaves in like 15 minutes.
"Yes baby. I have everything packed but you."
"You're just going to training for the first few months right?"
"Yes. You have nothing to worry about."

Everyone us at the Curtis house getting ready to leave. We had al the guys favorite meal. So we had hamburgers, steak, barbecue, everything!!

"Greg I can't believe this happening." I said when I was alone with him.
"I know me too. But don't worry. You know I can shoot. I hunt all the time. Country boy can survive." He reassured me.
"Can a country boy survive a bomb?"
"Don't think about that stuff. Let's have fun. The bus will be here any minute." There was a knock at the door.

"Yes?" Darry asked the man in an army uniform.
"You have 5 minutes to your goodbyes." The soldier said. I hugged Steve and didn't let go.
"Please don't leave me." I cried.
"I don't won't to but I have to." He said hugging me back.
"I can't do this without you."
"Yes you can. You have all the girls and Ponyboy and Dally."
"But they aren't you."
"I know. It's gonna be hard for me too." He kissed me passionately.
"Just come home."
"I will. After training I get to come home for a week or two." I nod. I go to Greg.
"I'm gonna miss you so so much."
"I'm gonna miss you too Benwilpott."
"Keep them in line."
"I'm will. Take care of Haley for me."
"I'm will. Take care of Steve and the others."
"I'll get them back to you."
"And you have to come back too."
"I will. You can't get rid of me that easy."

I hugged the others bye and told them they have to come back. We all walked outside. I hugged them all one more time before they boarded the bus.
"You look hot in a uniform." I told Steve.
"Thanks. Aren't you glad most of the soldiers are guys?"
"Don't turn gay on me."
"Don't worry. No man's as pretty as you."
"Thanks. That boosted my confidence."
"I love you." He said sincerely.
"I love you too." We kissed one last time.

He walked over to Soda who was waiting at the by the bus door. Soda was on the right and Steve was on the left. I smiled as I thought about the first time I saw them.

"One on the rights mine." Leah told me. She must've of been thinking the same thing.
"I call one of the left." I smiled. They loaded the bus. They stuck their head out the window and waved. The bus started going. I gotta tell him. I ran after the bus.

"Steve!!"
"What?!" He yelled.
"Steve I'm pregnant!" There was a long pause.
"I love you too."

Steve's POV

"Steve!" I heard Shelby's voice yell.
"What?!" I asked.
"!!!" I couldn't make out what she said.
"Did you guys understand her?" I asked the guys.
"I think she said I love you." Two-bit said.
"Oh. I love you too!" I hollered back.
"I spy something red." Hunter said.
This is gonna be a long trip and I'm already missing Shelby and home......

Sorry it's short but I hope you guys like it. I'm thinking the next chapter write this but in the others POV so you guys can know how they felt and the conversations between the other couples. What do you guys think??
