Shelby's POV (while Greg's gone)
"What are we gonna do with her?" Timber asked.
"Greg said to put her to bed." Blake said.
"He calls that thing her but he calls me it!!" Sydni exclaimed.
"I say we do what Greg said and put her to bed." I smirked.
"What's goin through that evil mind of yours?" Steve asked.
"Last time I saw that look Aiden Croley ended up on top of the flag pole." Caden laughed. I laughed to. That brings back memories.
"Man that was the worse butt bustin Greg ever gave me but he was laughin while he was doin it." I laughed.
"How'd you get a kid on top of a flag pole?" Dally asked.
"You put the string through his belt loops and pull the flag up. I'm surprised the loops didn't break. He's a big boy." I laughed.
"You could hear him screamin inside the classrooms." Caden tried to catch his breath.
"We've all had some good times together....and most of em lead up to Greg beatin our ass." I laughed.
"Back to Evie." Skylar said after awhile.
"Oh....bring her in my room Stevie." I said.
"Yes ma'am." He picked her up and carried her. We all went to my room.
"Where do I put her?" Steve asked.
"Not on my bed I don't want herpes. Sit her on the floor. Off my rug." I commanded. He sat her down.
"Now answer my questions and you might live." I told Evie.
"Why should I?" She asked. Seriously?! I just told her why!! She might not live!!
"Really you saw what I did in the kitchen now answer the questions before I get maddest!" I yelled.
"Maddest?" Steve asked.
"I was mad when they woke me up then I got madder when I saw that thing so if she keeps it up I'm gonna get maddest." I told him.
"Ooookay." He said.
"Anyways why did you come back?" I asked her.
"For Steve."
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I want him. He was so good to me and I thought he'd give me a second chance."
"But you knew he was with me before you came back and he's happy....I hope. So why would you mess that up?"
"Because I want to be with him. I want to be happy."
"So you don't care if he's happy." I said.
"I could make him happy. I did before. In more ways than one." She smirked. I looked at Steve.
"You were really desperate then weren't ya." I told Steve.
"I upgraded." He said.
"You went from the lowest to the highest." Blake said.
"No shit. She is the lowest but I'm not the highest." I said.
"What do you mean?" Steve asked.
"We'll talk about it later." I said. "Now Evie, why did you want to kill me?!"
"Because I wanted Steve duh."
"What I meant was why didn't you just flirt and win him back instead of TRYING TO KILL ME?!?!"
"Because I couldn't steal him from you. I did cheat on him."
"Point but-" I was cut off.
"Like an octagon." Two-Bit said. I looked at him.
"Is that a fat joke?" I asked.
"No uh it means you always have a point like an octagon always has a point." He said.
"Two-Bit it's serious time. We'll have beer and Mickey time later." I told him. He put his hands up in surrender.
"Two-Bit serious..good luck with that." Dally said.
"I can be serious!" Two-Bit said.
"Oh yeah we'll prove it!" Dally told him.
"I will!!" Two-Bit exclaimed. He dug through my drawers and found a flashlight and turned off the lights. He turned it on and shined it in Evie's face.
"Where were you at 6:35 pm last night? ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!" Two-Bit asked Evie. Oh he gets stupider and stupider every day. Timber face palmed herself.
"In Caden's kennel." Evie said. Two-Bit smirked.
"Now we're gettin somewhere." He said.
"Two-Bit we already knew that." I said.
"Yeah because she just told you." He said matter-of-factly.
"Thanks Two but I think I'll ask the questions now." I told him.
"You're welcome. If you need my help just holler." He smirked.
"Next question. Why'd you leave? I know you cheated but you could've kept tryin to get him back if you really wanted him."
"I figured after I left he'd get depressed and not find someone else then I'd come back and get him back." She shrugged.
"Why would you cheat on him?!"
"I don't know. I just wanted something new."
"Look at that face. And those cute teeth." I said in a baby voice and pinched his cheek.
"You know what makes me mad?" Evie asked.
"That I'm dating Steve?" I said.
"Well yes but what makes me really mad is that he let's you call him Stevie."
"So.." I said. It's not that big of a deal.
"He wouldn't let me call him that." She said. Maybe it is a big deal.
"Maybe he's just scared to tell me no." I smirked at him.
"What's so special about you? What do you have that I don't?!" Evie asked.
"Steve." I said being a asshole.
"Well I know that but why does Steve like you?"
"I don't know. You'd have to ask him." I looked at Steve.
"Why Steve?" She asked.
"Well I fell in love with her when I first saw her. I noticed her eyes first. Then I noticed everything. And when she talked to me her voice sounded better than Elvis, like an angel. I swear she was glowin. When I got to know her I fell even more in love with her. She's a strong, independent woman. I love how she changes her mind all the time and how she laughs at everything. I love the way she loves chocolate cake and Mickey Mouse. I love that when she wakes up she looks just as good as when she's goin to bed. She real and not one of those fake girls. She knows exactly what I'm thinking. She has a perfect smile that could light up the whole town, or the whole world. When she bats her eyelashes an earthquake happens in Hawaii. Evie I can't really tell you why I fell in love with her I just did. It happened before I knew it did." He said. Awe!! He can be sweet!! If only Pony was her so he knew he wasn't completely heartless.
"Awe!! You can be sweet!" I hugged him.
"Yeah yeah." He hugged me back. Two-Bit started fake crying and tried to hug Dally like he does Soda but Dally pushed him off.
"Get off of me man I ain't an emotional wreck like you and Soda. Go cry to your girlfriend or better yet go grow a set." Dally told Two-Bit. I chuckled at them.
"Why don't you love me anymore?" Evie asked Steve.
"Because you cheated on me and honestly Evie I never loved you as much as love Shelby. When I first saw Shelby I already loved her more than I ever did you. I don't think you would've called what we had love. More of a summer fling." Steve told her.
"You know you love me Steve you just won't admit it with her around." Evie spat at him.
"I don't love you Evie I'm sorry but I don't." Steve said.
"Can I go to bed now?" She asked. I felt sorry got her because she was heartbroken but she TRIED TO KILL ME!!!!
"Yeah I'll make you a pallet in Greg and Blake's room." I said. I went in Greg and Blake's room and got out extra blanket and pillows. I made her a comfy pallet in the floor.
"Steve carry her in their and loosen her rope just a little but not much." I said.
"Ok." He picked her up and carried her in their room.

Steve's POV
What does Shelby mean I hope he's happy?! She should know I'm happy. And that she's not the highest?! We all know she is. She can't deny it. I'm gonna have a talk with her. I put Evie on her pallet and covered her up.
"Night." I told her.
"Good night." She said. I walked out of the room. I heard the door open and shut.
"Anybody home?!" Greg said. We all went in the kitchen.
"Why is Nate tied up?" Shelby asked. Greg looked at Caden.
"Long story." Greg said. I wonder why Nate is tied up....
