Shelby's POV

We drove home without stopping by the Curtis house. We wanted sometime alone together.

"When I'm at school I'm going to have to hire a babysitter." I said.

"Can't one of the girls do it?"

"They'll be at school or work."

"Oh. Do what you gotta do."

"Ok. I'll put out an ad or something tomorrow."

"Make sure she's not a nut. I don't want just anyone watching my kid."

"I'll do a background check and everything." I joked.

A couple hours later we met everyone at the Curtis house.

"I'm home!" Steve said walking in.

"Steve! Is Soda and Dar here?" Pony asked excitedly.

"No...I'm sorry. If you're married you get to come home more." Steve sighed.

"Oh." Pony said sadly.

"They'll be here in a couple weeks." Steve tried to cheer him up.

"Yeah...."

"I told Steve I'm pregnant." I said.

"I'd hope so. How ya doin' buddy?" Dally greeted him.

"Alright Dal. You?"

"Alright. Haven't been thrown in the cooler since you guys left."

"That's good man. That's real good." Steve said and sat down on the couch. As usual, Mickey Mouse was on TV and there was beer in the fridge and chocolate cake on the table.  I sighed and started thinking about when all the guys were home. We had some hard times but they were all good times.

"What's up Min?" Skylar asked me.

"Nothing. I'm putting an ad out for a sitter tomorrow." I changed the subject.

"I gotta interview them with you. Make sure they've never been in the cooler with me." Dally piped in. I chuckled.

"Whatever you say Dal."

I put an ad in the paper in Oklahoma City the next day...

"Wanted: Babysitter for newborn. Must have a clean recorder and not a nutjob."  Steve wrote it.  It had our phone number attached.

"You leave in three days." I told Steve one morning in bed, playing with his hair.

"Yeah. But since you're already pregnant think of all the fun we can have without worrying about getting you pregnant."

"Quit being positive."

"I have to be. Negative is boring. If I was negative I'd be crying around and we wouldn't do anything fun."

"This is true."

"I told you I'm always right."

"Oh really?"

"Mmhmm." The phone rang.

"I'll get it." I groaned.

"Hello?"

"Hi. I'm responding to your ad in the paper."

"Oh hey. What's your name?"

"Jenny Chadrick."

"Ok. Can you meet at the DX in Tulsa at 3 today for an interview?"

"Yeah! I'll be there."
