Shelby's Pov

I woke up in Steve's arms. It felt so good. He was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake him up. So I just laid there, which was fine by me. I opened my eyes to find Steve's gang staring at us.

"What?" I asked.

"Our little Stevie's grownin up." Soda fake cried on Two-Bit's shoulder and Two-Bit put his head on Soda's shoulder and fake cried.

"Now back to what I wanted to know."Dally smirked."Be honest he's asleep so he can't hear, is Steve good in bed?"

"We didn't do it" I said.

"Look how sad she looks."Dally joked."When you do go all the way let me know if he's any good ok."

"Ok, but why do want to know? Are you planning on tryin him out yourself Dal?"I joked. Everyone laughed, even Dally chuckled. I felt something kiss my cheek so I looked up and saw Steve smiling.

"Good come back babe."

"Thanks." I said. Soda started fake crying again saying "Where has the time gone? They look so cute together."

"Are you goin mushy on me Soda?"Steve asked.

"Come on you two lovebirds breakfast is ready." Darry told us.

"My gang is probably starvin. I always cook for them." I said. About that time the door swings open.

"Shelby! We're hungry!" Leah shouted.

"Couldn't Greg cook this one time?" I groaned.

"I tried but I kinda started a fine again, so we came here." Greg said.

"Fine I'm gettin up. I'll walk all the way home just to cook for you 11 cry babies somethin to eat."I griped.

"Nonsense, guys there's plenty of food for all of us." Darry cut in.

"You sure Darry?" I questioned "they're hogs."

"It's fine." Darry said.

"Aww, you're so sweet." Lauren said hugging Darry and Darry hugged her back.

"Hey Two-Bit." Timber greeted him.

"Hey babe. Where ya been?" He asked

"Waitin for you." Timber answered. Two-Bit kissed her cheek.

"Hey Ashley."Pony said.

"Oh hey Ponyboy." She smiled.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go uh uh to the movies with me today."

"I'd love to!"she said.

"My Ashies grownin up." Me n Lauren said in unison. We hugged and fake cried.

Ashley and Pony blushed.

"Hey Dal. How come you haven't came by?" Skylar cooed.

"Babe I've been busy but I'll come by I promise."

"Ok Dally." She groaned. Dally kissed her cheek.

"Hi Chandra, how's it goin?" Johnny asked.

"Great, what about you?"

"Fine. Do you wanna go to the Dingo later?"

"Yeah."

"Hey sky let's go out tonight, I hear Bucks havin a party."Dally asked her.

"Sure I'm always ready for a party."

"So, Leah and Soda, Pony and Ashley, Johnny and Chandra, and Dallas and Sky are all goin out tonight?" I asked.

"Yup." They said.

"Me and Timber are goin out too."Two spoke up.

"Same for me and Lauren." Darry said.

I was sittin be Thomas and whispered to him "Can you please get Greg to go out with you and the other boys tonight so me and Steve can be alone? Please?!" I begged him.

"I'll try." He said.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Thomas walked to the kitchen where Greg was.

Thomas's POV

I walked over to Greg and said "Hey Greg, it's been awhile since we've gone out and started trouble. What'd ya say we go out tonight?

"I don't know I planned on stayin with Shelby and Steve...." He was cut off by Shelby's voice.

Shelby's POV

I listened to Greg and Thomas. "I don't know I planned on stayin with Shelby and Steve...." I cut him off sayin "Its fine we're double datin with Leah and Soda." Nudging Leah's arm. She looked at me and said "Yeah they are." Soda and Steve looked so confused. "Ok then I'll go." Greg said. Soda came to me and said "Are we seriously goin on a double date?"

"No, I told Greg that so me and Steve could be alone." He shook his head smiling and walked off.

"So we're not goin with Leah and Soda right?" Steve asked.

"Right, just us here alone...." I trailed off.

"Well, what do you want to do?" Steve grinned.

"The same thing you want to do." I smirked.

"Hey guys let's go get Steve's stuff while his dad's gone." Soda said.

"Ok." They all said.

"Need help?"Greg offered.

"Sure, we'll get finished faster." Soda replied.

"While yall are gone I'm gonna go get some stuff for tonight." I said.

"Ok." They said.

Steve stopped me and whispered "If we do go all the way I have the stuff."

"Ok."

I walked home and heard the phone ring. I answer the phone.

"Hello" I said.

"Shelby is that you?!"

"Yeah. Is this Sydni?!" Sydni is my cousin who had to move to Illinois when was 10 because of her moms promotion. She's 15 now.

"Yeah."

"How'd you know my number?!"

"I asked your grandpa."

"Oh, so what do you want?"

"Well, I planned on coming over if that's ok?"

"Yeah that's fine. When will you be here?"

"Well I'm kinda on a plane now, so I'll be there around 7:30 tomorrow. Can you pick me up?"

"Yeah I can. So you weren't takin no for an answer huh."

"Nope." That's Sydni for ya.

"Ok, I can't wait for to meet Steve he's so nice, sweet, good looking,amazing, hot,loving, sexy,and did I say sexy?!"

"Yeah ya did I can't wait to meet him and see Thomas." Thomas and Sydni had a thing going on before she left.

" Ok bye, see ya tomorrow!!"

"Bye, see ya tomorrow!!"

I walked back to the Curtis house the same time the boys where back. I didn't bring anything since Steve had it all. All the girls were ready so everybody left. Leah and Soda left last so Greg would think I went with them. Leah and Soda finally left so it was just me and Steve. Let's see where this goes....
