Steve's POV

At 11 o'clock Dally and Sydni were already there.

"Type A, she doesn't have any diseases, never been arrested, never been married, doesn't have kids. Graduated high school the previous year and will attend the University of Arkansas to become a nurse." Sydni reported.

"Damn. I thought they were joking." I said.

"I don't play." Sydni said.

"I got the same stuff. She has no life. She's an introvert." Dally said.

"She's perfect." Shelby said.

"How much is my raise?" Dally asked.

"Raise?" I questioned.

"$1.50 an hour?" Shelby said completely ignoring me.

"Deal." Dally told her.

"Okay." I said.

"You're married. She's the boss." Sydni told me.

"I noticed." 

"You must be Jenny. Come on in and we can talk with my wife and our....friends." I said.

"Hi. You must be Steve." 

"Yeah." I held the door open for her

"Hey Jenny." Sydni said when she walked in.

"You're Shelby?" She asked.

"No I'm your worst-" Sydni started.

"I'm Shelby!" Shelby said loudly to cover up Sydni. Geez she scares everyone away.

"So....have you ever babysitted before?" I asked.

"Loads of times. I have a lot of younger siblings and I babysitted as a summer job." She answered.

"What ages?" Shelby asked.

"The youngest was 6 weeks old."

"That'll work. The baby will be 6 weeks when I start school again."

"And you will be able to come to Oklahoma City?" I asked.

"I live there. I was just in this area for a couple weeks."

"Great. We'll call you tomorrow." Shelby said.

"Thank you. It was nice meeting you all." She said politely and left.

"Your worst nightmare? Really?" I asked Sydni after Jenny was  gone.

"Put the fear of God in her before she starts. Bitch better know. She's gonna learn today!"

"What do you think of her?" I turned to Shelby and blocked out Sydni.

"I like her. I think we should give her a chance." She shrugged.

"We'll think it over tonight and tell her for sure tomorrow."

~~The next day~~

"Jenny is taking the job." Shelby said and sat down on the couch beside me. I pulled her closer. We are at the girls house.

"Name the baby after me!" Leah exclaimed.

"No me!" Skylar said.

"Why you guys? Me!" Timber said.

"Obviously I'm the better choice." Lauren said.

"Technically me and Chandra are the only two that have never been arrested. I think the baby should be named after us." Ashley said matter-of-factly.

"Naw. They're totally naming the baby after me." Sydni said.

"We already have names picked out. And we aren't telling anyone yet." I said.

"Kill joy." Skylar grumbled.

"Sorry guys. We wanted S names." Shelby said.

"Skylar!!" Skylar yelled.

"No." I said.

"And you killed the joy again! Shot it down!" Skylar told me.

"It's a  hobby of mine."

~~that night~~

"Tomorrow." Shelby whispered as she laid on my chest in bed.

"Don't think about it."

"When will you be back?"

"I don't know but when I do come back I'll have all the guys with me."

"Don't tell them. I don't want them worrying about me. I  don't want you to worry either. I'm in good hands."

"I know you are. I just wish I could be here for you and Samantha and/or Shade."

"I chose home remember?"

"I want twins."

"Sorry."

"Send me copies of the ultrasound. And I want updates."

"I will Steve. I promise."

"I'm gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too."

"And the babies." I smirked.

"BABY." She said and playfully slapped my chest.
