Fury turned the corner entering another one of the various halls in the new helicarrier. He was on his way to the interrogation room to question the Queen of Hearts. Clint had reported to him as soon as they had detained the Queen, and Fury was actually relieved. She was a potential asset. Yes, she was a killer but yet again, who of them wasn't?
He came to a stop in front of two doors and entered the one on the right. This one was the viewing room and all of the Avengers, plus Maria Hill and Pepper, were sitting or standing. When he came in, everyone's attention shifted from the young woman in the next room sipping on tea, to him.
"Any troubles?" Fury asked in his usual no nonsense tone.
Clint spoke up first, "None at first, but she used some kind of power on Wanda. It was similar to hers but made her insane for a few minutes. Other than that we didn't run into any trouble. She came peacefully."
"Why isn't she handcuffed?"
Natasha replied, "She was. She just keeps getting out."
"Okay. Hill?"
"Yes, sir?" She replied.
"With me. I have no idea how this is going to go and if we can't get anything out of her, then we send in Stark and Romanoff."
With that they both exited and entered the other room. As soon as they entered the room, they both had to duck as a tiny glass teacup, tea and all, sailed pass them and shattered on the wall. They heard the Queen's manic voice yell, "YOU'RE LATE FOR TEA!"
They both turn back to her and Fury calmly took a seat and Hill stood to the side, towards the corner. The Queen had just summoned three more empty teacups and sat calmly, as if nothing had happened.
The Queen raised an eyebrow and looked at them pointedly, "Well?"
"Well what?" Hill asked.
"Are you going to sit and have tea?" She asked politely.
"No, we are here to question to you about recent eve-" Fury started but was cut off by the Queen.
"Oh we can get to that in a bit. Now tea! Sit, sit."
"No place to sit, sorry." Hill says, obviously not sorry.
"Oh... are you so sure?" Her eyes flashing red.
"Yes I a-" Her eyes widened, and the rest of the Avengers watch in amazement, as the room around her began to change. They were in a meadow, the table had elongated and ten chairs surrounded it. The table was decorated with teacups, pots, crumpets, sugar cubes, pitchers of cream, and more. The Avengers had all rushed in but were immediately swept into chairs and their clothes all changed.
The men had long coats and with suits. Each a different color to match their outfits. Fury had a blacked out monocle instead of an eye-patch.
The women had ball gowns on with little umbrellas, fans, and hats. The Queen clapped delightedly and sipped her tea before Fury stood up and roared, "ENOUGH!"
The Queen yelped before glaring at Fury. She raised her hand and snapped once. Immediately everything screeched back to normal and the Avengers were thrown into the other room again.
"Thank you, now, we are here to discuss the recent events that you were involved with. We need to know who you are and what you are. Understood?" Fury asked still slightly annoyed. He then noticed that she kept his monocle on him. He glared at her with one eye and pointed at it. She sighed, her eyes flashed red once again and the monocle changed back to the eye-patch.
"First question," Fury starts but the Queen holds up a hand, and she sips more tea. She scowls and then summons another sugar cube before mixing it in. She takes another sip before nodding and allowing him to speak. "What is your real name?"
"My birth name was Alexandra Lynn Holly but my real name is Evangeline Regina Coles."
