I'm going to give y'all one more chapter before it's decided.

Over the next days, the change in Evangeline was drastic. Gone was the cheerful, insane, lovable Queen and in her place was an easily angered, slightly depressed shell. While they all were confident that they would get Malakai back, the simplest thing set her off. The giggles of the smallest children running around, anything blue that she saw, Malakai's favorite food, even the Cheshire Cat set her off crying once. 

The Avengers had returned to their tower a couple days before. To them it was only a couple hours so when Sebastian brought them back the sudden change had shocked them all. Natasha had immediately hugged and comforted her friend.

Sebastian was currently trying to cheer her up. He had brought her tea to where she was, which happened to be in the middle of her son's room clutching a toy. 

When he handed her the tea, she started bawling. 

"He's gone! He's gone Sebastian!" She cried, tears rolling down her plate as she held her tea cup with shaking hands. 

Sebastian finally decided that he had had enough. Not only was she acting like she will never see her son again but she was acting like he was already dead. She had given up all hope from whatever was in that message. 

He hauled himself up from his sitting position and threw his tea cup at the wall. It hit it and burst into a puff of red wisps. 

He then faced her, face red and frustrated, "THAT IS ENOUGH, EVANGELINE!!! You have lost you muchness!!! You acting like Malakai is already dead, and I can't stand it! We all have lost him but we can get him back! But we can't do that with you acting like the Weeping Lady! So I suggest you stop acting like that and start acting like the Queen you need to be!" He took several deep breaths and calmed himself.

Evangeline was staring at Sebastian in shock. He had never yelled at her before but she knew he was right. 

She nodded, stood up and walked towards the door, her outfit changing to body armor. Sebastian smiled knowing that his outburst had worked. 

She walked out into the throne room and down to the door. Her council and the Avengers were there and seeing her in the armor got them out of their current positions.

The Hatter asked, "Where are you going?" He already knew the answer but hearing her say it would lift everyone's spirits.

She kept walking, pushing open the door and saying over her shoulder, "I'm getting my son back."

Everyone present smiled and followed close behind her.
