*Tyler POV*
I ran back to Josh's house when I got the text from Sam.
'Goodbye.' -S
I ran, not stopping until I got to her. I ran inside and up the stairs. I couldn't grasp what I saw. All I knew was Sam looks lifeless, and Josh is crying... I immediately called an ambulance, going to Sam and checking her pulse. It was ever so faint, but it was still there.
"Is she breathing?" The lady on the phone asked.
"Barely." I said, starting to panic. Why did they have to ask so many questions?
"Who was around when she did this?"
"No one."
"She did this when she was alone?"
"Yes! Send someone over here!"
"Sir! Calm down. Just a few questions left. Okay? How old is she?"
"19."
"What's your relationship with the girl?"
"I'm her boyfriend." I said, not thinking.
"Yes. Okay. An ambulance is on the way."
Then, she hung up. "Josh." I said, turning to face him. He had his hands over his eyes and was crying. "She's dying."
"No." He whispered, not looking up. "No...no...no." He repeated, shaking his head.
"I'm sorry, Josh." I said, trying to keep calm. I loved her and now she might be gone.
"This is your fault!" Josh yelled, standing up. He came closer to me, and I didn't know what he was doing until he punched me. As hard as he could, right across my face.
"I know, Josh." I said, looking at him for a second before walking myself out of his house. I waited on the porch for the ambulance.
This is your fault, Tyler.
I know.
If you were a good boyfriend, you would trust her.
I know.
She wouldn't cheat on you.
I know.
Why fight it, Tyler? Just do what she did.
No. I can't do that.
Why not? Your girlfriend is stronger than you?
No. I'm stronger than you.
I'm you're insanity. I can take over whenever I want.
No. I'm stronger than that.
No you're not, Tyler.
