"You think they'll ever forgive me?" Brian asked, resting on his elbow, looking down at me.

"They'll come around someday. It will just take some time." I answered with a soft smile.

"You know, Dom has a way of forgiving, like nobody else." I said, staring at the ceiling.

"And what about you?" He asked, laying back on the bed, staring into the ceiling like me.

I lifted myself up and looked down at him.

"I don't blame you, Brian." I said softly. He looked surprised at me.

"You just did your job and if it wasn't you, it would have been someone else. You gave Dom a chance to get out of there and I'm thankful for that." I continued.

Brian smiled at me.

"He knew the risk, and he did it anyway. You can't blame anyone else for that." I said laying back down on the bed.

"Did he tell you?" Brian asked.

"No. I woke up one night, and he was gone. Then he finally told me, what was going on." I answered.

"I think he was scared to tell me." I said, looking over at Brian.

"That you would leave him." Brian added.

"Yeah. But it didn't change a thing." I said smiling.

The next morning I woke up by someone walking towards us.
I sat up in shock and covered myself with the sheets. It was a woman I hadn't seen before.

"What are you doin' here?" Brian asked her. I guess he knew her.

"Brian, they're gonna kill you. I heard him telling Enrique and Roberto.
Once you finish the run, they're putting a bullet in your head." She whispered in panic, as she sat down on the bed.

"You sure you heard 'em right?" Brian asked. I looked confused between them. What was going on?

"I'm sure. I'm sure." She whispered.

"Verone's boys is outs..." Rome started as he walked in, but he stopped as he noticed the woman on the bed.

"Oh, I see what they lookin' for, your little girlfriend here." He said harshly to Brian, not taking his eyes of the woman.

Brian quickly got out of bed and dressed.

"They don't know I'm here. I snuck out." She whispered.

"What are they doin' here then?" Rome whispered.

"I don't know. Maybe they're guessing." She hissed.

"Hey, go stall them. Go stall them for two minutes." Brian said to Roman.
