It was strange.

I sat down on my bed as I thought about the girl with the bundle of letters.

I didn't even get to see her face because she had been looking down the entire time.

Although I did notice she had curly, long brown hair and that's all I really got of her features.

I stared at the bundle that was laying on the top of my dresser and stood up to grab it.

I sat down at my desk chair and looked at the envelopes.

There were twenty of them.

They were stacked onto each other then tied with some twine to hold them in place.

I untied the twine and threw it off to the side as I pulled the top letter off of the pile.

In the upper left corner there was a number one.

All of the envelopes were black and none of them had any writing on them whatsoever.

I opened the envelope and pulled the letter from it.

The girl had written on a piece of blank white paper with a black ink pen.

Her writing was in extremely neat print and there wasn't a single mistake at all throughout the letter.

i met this guy today

he seems nice

he's really attractive

i heard he's in this really popular band called 5 seconds of summer

mika told me that they've toured with one direction several times

how have i not heard of them

a few weeks ago he held me on the curb of my favourite record store while i cried

and when i left i didn't even say thank you

i don't know you but i wish i did

you said your name was calum

and i said mine was hadley

i like your style

you were wearing a slipknot shirt

i love that band

i listened to your guys' music

it's actually really good

i love your guys' song heartbreak girl

who is it about

it sucks that she never realised that one of you were there for her

you were right under the tip of her nose

but she just never realised it i guess

This was not real.

Hadley had no interest in me whatsoever.

Or did she?

But she likes Rian Wilson.
