My eyes couldn't stop staring deeply into hers. She looked like she had dressed well for the occasion. Her hair was neatly curled, her face that was caked with makeup looked sloppy and her winged eyeliner was crooked.
She was placed in a seat at the center of the table. She had her hands crossed and placed on the glass table. I wanted so badly to just reach across the table and slam her head against the large window behind her. That's how annoyed and angry she made me feel, just looking at her face was enough to make me livid.
I'm guessing Jason noticed my hard stare on her because he started rub his hand gently on my thigh. "Relax. Okay?" He breathed in my ear. I nodded slowly.
I'm not making any promises .
I watched the two men that were standing protectively beside her. My eyes trailed over their bodies with distaste. Her eyes eventually flickered to mine. She shocked that I was brave enough to look at her. "Do I have sit here and watch her stare at me like this?" She asked, causing my anger to suddenly increase. "Yes. You do. Or I could just kill you, to take you out of you're misery." Jason said from beside me. Her eyes flickered to his, her whole demeanor changed, once her eyes met his. She sat there and kept quiet.
"What are the accusations?" The man standing behind her asked. I looked around the room, searching for who supposed to speak up. "She tried to kill me, Lotus & my partner." Jason said softly. My eyes looked over towards Lotus who was sitting stiffly in her chair. "That's not true. I only tried to kill this bitch. Don't fucking lie." She argued. I bit down on my lip firmly. "I got shot in the side, she got shot in her foot." Jason said, completely ignoring the pathetic girl sitting across from him. I could hear him trying to keep his composure through his voice.
"Is that true." The man asked. He looked over at Lotus. She nodded her head. "Yes." She said firmly. The room was silent momentarily. "I don't trust her, & I don't want her associated with the head gang." Jason continued.
"You didn't have a problem with me before." Leighton said, distastefully. "That's because you're weren't trying kill the person I love." He spat towards her. I rested my hands on top of his comfortingly. I could feel the anger radiating of his body. "You think you love her. But you d-" she began but Zayn stepped in. He got up from table, staring down at all of us.
He looked like he was tired of her bullshit. Every time she would speak, she would say the same things over and over again. She was a joke. How many times does a person have to tell you they don't love you for you to believe them?
"Let's vote now. All in favor to have this bi—Leighton Perez out of the head gang?" Zayn asked. Everyone raised their hand immediately except for Lotus. I didn't want to start anymore drama between us, but I felt like her hand didn't go up with everyone else's. Our eyes met and she sent me a forced smile. I couldn't tell what was going on in that head of her's.
Maybe she doesn't want to vote Leighton off. Or maybe I'm over analyzing everything.
"Alright. That's majority. Now get the fuck out." Zayn said. Leighton scoffed, finally standing up from her chair. "Whose going to replace me? Her? She couldn't even kill me when she had a fucking gun in her hand." She spat.
