Hunter looked at me as I stared at him with eyes the size of golf balls. I snapped out of it and I pulled Hunter inside.

"What the fuck, Hunter!? What the hell happened to you?" I asked and he took an abrupt stop.

"I made it, Zoe..." he whispered and I frowned at him.

"Come again?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"I finally have the money." a tear slipped down his cheek. My eyes grew wide, and he looked at me. "Blaze will live, Zoe... She'll survive." the tears freely streamed down his face. He didn't even bother to hold them back.

"W-what?" I managed to say. "Y-you have the money?"

He nodded and fell to his knees. "She'll live, Zoe. My sister will finally enjoy life..." he cried.

I felt the tears forming in my eyes out of happiness. Blaze was going to be fine again. I kneeled and cupped his cheeks. He looked at me and I smiled. I smiled brightly. I felt my heart beating faster. The happiness inside me made me feel as if my heart was going to burst. If I'm feeling like this, then I can't imagine how happy Hunter might be now. I laughed as the tears streamed down my face.

"She's going to live." I breathed out and Hunter laughed while tears streamed down his face, nodding at me.

"After six fucking years. She'll finally see the world again." Hunter cried.

I sniffed and hugged Hunter out of happiness. If it weren't for him steadying himself, we would have fallen on the floor. Hunter his arms wrapped around my waist and he buried his face in the crook of my neck. I felt his body shiver as he cried and I hugged him tighter. Blaze was going to live. He hugged me tighter, crying in happiness.

We pulled away from each other. "But where did you get the money from?" I frowned.

Hunter stared at me for a few seconds, hesitating to tell me. I gave him a stern look. He better tell me.

"Street fighting..." he finally managed to say.

My jaw almost reached the floor. What!? Street fighting!?

"What the fuck, Hunter!?" I hit him on his chest. "You could have gotten yourself killed." I felt myself getting angry.

Hunter held my hands, stopping me from hitting him. "I did it for Blaze. I promise, this is the last fight." he said and my eyes grew wide.

"So you have done this before!?" I gave him a unbelieving look.

"Yeah, where do you think I got the other ten thousand from?" he raised his eyebrows at me.

"Hunter!? Are you crazy!? Anything could have happened to you!" I yelped and he sat on the floor, placing the bag next to him.

He crossed his legs over each other and smirked at me. "I like the way you care." he said and I felt my anger slightly fading. He took my hands in his and made me sit. "Look, Zoe, I promise, this is the last time. I won't ever do this again." he said and I looked at him.

"Promise?" I pointed my index finger at him sternly.

"Promise." he said and I hugged him again.

He hugged back and we pulled away after a while. I rolled my eyes at him. "Come on, doofus, let me get your face cleaned up." I said and we stood up.

He took the bag and we walked into the room. He sat on the bed and I took out the tissue, applying some medicine to it. I kneeled in front of him as he sat at the edge of the bed, staring at me with a goofy smile on his face. I smiled and started cleaning up his bruised face. He didn't even hiss in pain. He just stared at me as I cleaned the blood up. I rolled my eyes at him as he smirked.
