"Dylan!" I shouted and ran over to Dylan to hug him.
Dylan laughed as he hugged me back. I was happy to finally see him again. I seriously really missed this guy. Dylan placed his bag on the floor and we pulled away, one of his arms still around my waist. Dylan looked at Hunter with the usual annoyingly adorable smile he always has on his face, making Hunter roll his eyes. Hunter shot Dylan a glaring look, and we frowned for a second before we heard Hunter say,
"That's my girlfriend." he raised his eyebrows. Dylan looked at his arm around my waist and quickly let go.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to touch my own best friend." Dylan said in a sarcastic tone, making me chuckle.
I loved watching and listening these two argue over nothing at all. We can literally just talk about something stupid like pickles, and they'll start fighting over that. I shook my head and Hunter looked at me.
"Seriously, how did you find this idiot?" he shot me a flat look.
I looked at Dylan and he sighed in annoyance. "How are you even dating this idiot?"
"Well," I started. "Idiot girl has idiot boyfriend and idiot best friend." I said and they both frowned.
"You really are mental." Hunter breathed out and I thought of the day he carried me out of math class.
"Well, and you're still dating her." Dylan said. "That makes you even more mental." he said and I frowned now.
"Wait, does that mean that both of you are more mental than I am?" I asked with a frown.
"No!" they both said in a louder voice.
"Then what the fuck are you bitches talking about?" I started getting more confused. "You know, if I stay here longer, you guys will make me go crazy." I breathed out and they started laughing.
"You already are, stupid." Dylan laughed, making me roll my eyes.
But I started laughing too after a while. Yep, we were just standing in our apartment, laughing like fucking retards. I shook my head and waited for everyone to simmer down. I showed Dylan his room, expecting him to unpack his stuff, but no, he just threw it on the bed and then walked out of the room again. I chuckled and we walked towards Hunter again. Hunter was on his phone, which me frown. The same Hunter who told me not to use my phone to call, is now talking to someone on the phone. I placed my hands on my hips and raised my eyebrow at him.
"I'll call you back." he said and ended the call, smiling at me. "I have to go somewhere, I'll be back soon." he kissed my forehead.
"Huh?" I frowned and he sighed.
"I'll be back soon, Zoe." he said, leaving no space for a argument.
It was in a cold voice. A cold voice that hurt. I actually didn't expect Hunter his mood to change like that. I didn't say anything. I just nodded and walked away from there. I heard Hunter sigh as I walked away, but I didn't bother looking back. It's funny how small actions hurt like that. How sensitive can you be, Zoe?
I hated being this sensitive. It was just a sentence. They were just a few words. Why am I this hurt about it? Why do I have to be so weak? I just tried shaking the thoughts away. I walked into our room and locked the door. Then, I walked over to the bed and lay down, resting my head on the pillow, staring at nothing at all. Why do I have to be so complicated. Why do I have to be so weak? No wonder Tony saw me as an easy victim. I don't even know how to defend myself. I'm just a coward.
Just a coward.

"Zoe!" I heard someone shouting my name as they banged on the door.
