"So all this time I was in Anton?" I frowned and Dylan nodded. "I didn't know Anton had some sort of desert."

"I know. That's probably why you didn't recognize it." Hunter said.

I was still shivering a bit. We were in the car, driving to our old home. I seriously didn't know Anton had a desert. I can't believe they managed to get me on a plane from Florida all the way to Anton without me even realizing. I was in the backseat with Dylan's arm around me, trying to keep me warm while Hunter was driving.

"What about Zachariah?" I frowned, because the fact that he wants Hunter and I dead isn't very comforting.

"Don't worry about that. We're completely safe." Hunter said and I frowned even deeper this time.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, Zachariah rewarded me for killing his son, since his son was planning on killing him," he said and I shot him a look. "Hey, I didn't know. At least he won't kill us." he said. "And he said I'm free now. Not like he owned me. It's just that—"

"You're fucking rambling, you stupid fuck." Dylan said and Hunter glared at him, making me laugh.

"Dylan, can you do me a favor and drive?" Hunter asked and Dylan gasped dramatically.

"Hunter Adams. The Dangerous Hunter Adams, is asking me a favor... And very politely too!" he acted surprised and Hunter sighed.

"Yeah. That's because I should be holding Zoe and not you." Hunter shot Dylan a look.

Dylan rolled his eyes and breathed out in annoyance. "Bitch, no. You didn't listen when I told you I'll drive." he raised his eyebrow. "Besides, we're almost there and I promise I won't even bother you guys once we're home. You can even fucking bang her for all I care." Dylan raised his hands in surrender.

I gasped and hit him on his arm, making him laugh. Even Hunter chuckled. That's when I realized how comfortable we are with each other. I sighed and shivered. I was still very cold. My cold hands rested on my upper arm, trying to receive some warmth, but obviously that was cold too. I pulled my knees to my chest and rested my head on Dylan's shoulder, making him wrap an arm around my shoulder. The rest of the ride was silent. I felt myself getting tired, since I haven't slept for two days. I closed my eyes and waited for the darkness to take over.

---

"How did you guys know that I was in Anton?" I asked as Hunter handed me a mug of coffee.

"Jackass over here," he pointed at Dylan. "heard those guys saying that before he passed out. We then managed to track you down with the help of Frankie and Zachariah." Hunter threw his arm over my shoulder.

I frowned. "You know. I still don't get Zachariah. First he wants to kill you, and then he doesn't. What a weirdo." I took a sip of my coffee.

"Zoe's right." Dylan said. "I don't get him either. Zachariah has serious personality issues." Dylan said, making me almost choke on my coffee because I had to laugh.

Hunter smiled and shook his head. I didn't expect Zachariah to help us out. Who knows what goes on in his head.

"I still think that we should have killed Tony." Dylan said bitterly.

I looked at Hunter. I was actually surprised that he didn't kill him. Even I wanted Tony dead, but I don't think that I'd be able to kill him. Hunter sighed and looked at Dylan.

"The only reason I didn't kill him was because I promised Blaze and Zoe..." he looked at me.

I looked at Hunter, completely speechless. I didn't know what to say. Hunter Adams still manages to leave me speechless and still has the ability to melt my heart with just one touch. I blinked a few times and finally smiled at him, and he smiled back. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead. I rested my head on his shoulder and looked at Dylan, who was smiling at me. Finally everything was going to be fine now. Tony is in jail and I can finally be with Hunter now.
