" Clary, I'm fine stop it" I said smacking her hands away as she reached out to touch my head.

" Rissa, how much have you been using your-" She asked but cut her off

" Go talk to Luke, I'm fine" I complained and she sent me a look." fine, I've been using them more the usual, happy"

" you realize your going to get yourself killed"

" already have, remember" I called sarcastically as she walked away. Jace walked over to me and I sighed" so, how you doing, after finding out what happened back then"

" ask me after, we stop valentine" he told me and I got up turning to him." if we stop him, you mean"

" No, we will but right now we have a city to protect"

" good times" I mumbled walked over to where Clary was with Luke, talking with the consul, well more like yelling at him. I watched Cary leave with Sebastian and frowned but before I could go after them, Magnus suddenly appeared next to me with a book." What's that " I asked with a frown.

" Hello to you too" he said and I raised eyebrow.

" The book of white" he told me and my eyes widened as he explained the spell to save my mother was in it." well, then let's get to work" I told him and he smirked.

The next day, I stood on a bridge just staring at the water below, thinking about the events that taken place hours before. Sebastian, wasn't really Sebastian and had attacked my sister, Hodge, we now knew was dead. Simon was okay. The youngest Lightwood, max had been killed by what-ever-his-was and me, I wasn't sure what do at the moment, Magnus on the other hand, had left to do the spell for mom.

I was pulled out my thoughts by Clary walking over to me." Rissa, are you coming with us to the Gard?"

" I'll see you there, I need a few more minutes"

" Okay, but don't take to long, or we'll send Luke after you" she told me and I sighed as she walked away. I sat down and closed my eyes before pulling my knees up to my chin, just staring at the water." come on, just one. Tell me something I can use"

Flicks of the past, swarmed before my eyes and I grabbed my head as they started to speed up.

" Rissa" a voiced cried snapping me out of it and I looked over to see Luke.

" Somethings happened" he said and I frowned before following after him.

Later that night, I stood on that bridge again, the darkness me me almost invisible, since I was wearing a dark blue shirt under my warlock cloak, black tights and boots. The only source of light near by other then the witchlight, was a small flickering flame I had created and was currently turning it around my fingers as I watched my reflection in the river. Luke appeared and I looked over causing him to stop.

" you know, if your hair was blue right now, you would look just like-"

" my father" I said for him and he shook his head before he smiled.

" no, your mother" he corrected.

My eyes widened and I looked back at the river.

" You know, I never noticed it until earlier but, you've really grown into the young lady your mother wanted you to be."

" I just feel like I let her down" I admitted and he hugged me." you should get to bed before your sister goes crazy" he told me and I smiled before teleporting back to the house. The next morning, Clary woke me up by shoving me off the bed. I groaned into the floor and looked at her in confusion." Jace is gone, he went after Valentine"

" Of course" he did" I mumbled not surprised at all but I was on my feet in two seconds when she said" and Mom's downstairs"

My eyes widened and I ran out the door, having slept in my clothes from yesterday, except for the cloak of course. I stopped at the top of the stairs almost being knocked over by Clary. Mom stood at the bottom of the stairs talking with Amatis, but wen she heard us coming she looked up. I was to shocked to move.

" Rissa..."

" mommy" I mumbled tears filling my eyes before I ran down the stairs and launched myself at her. She hugged me and I cried" I'm sorry" I told her but she shhed me.

" it's alright Rissa" she whispered" oh my little Rissa" I pulled away and she smiled.

" You did everything you could, that's all I wanted for you" From her pocket she pulled the piece of paper I had left with her in the hospital." I also got your message, are you sure what your seeing is real"

"  I'm sure of it"

" who else knows"

" I told Isabelle and Magnus, but no one else"

" I'm sorry but can someone tell me what's going on?" Clary asked and I sighed" Not right now Clary"

" I thought you said no more secrets"

" I didn't say I wouldn't tell you, I just said not right now" I smiled but she shook her head before out the door." Go after her" Mom said and I sighed hugging her. I ran after Clary and sighed when I caught up to her on the hill over looking Alicante, I sat next to her but she didn't say anything as I hugged her.
