I smiled as it felt like we were normal again, as the three of us ( Me, Simon and Clary) sat on that hill together but mentally sighed knowing that we would never be normal again. I was a Warlock with wings, Simon was a vampire who could walk in the sun and Clary was a Shadowhunter who could make her own runes. The downworlders had gathered at the gate, so we were just watching and waiting to see their decision." I'm going back to the house to change" I told them before getting up, I teleported back to the house before going inside. I ran upstairs and changed but when I walked back outside, Clary ran passed me in direction of the Hall of accords. I let out a sigh before running after her. We stopped and I crossed my arms" what's going on?

" their not letting them in" She told me and my eyes widened before we went inside, Simon wishing us luck." they are insane if they think letting him win is going to fix anything" I cried before pushing open the doors. Luke was the only one who noticed but as we stood on the dais, all eyes were on us.

all around us were the words ' That's them, Valentine's daughters'

Clary put that to rest before I did by telling the truth, and that we knew tings about Valentine that they did. One of them started to insult us but another pointed out who our mother was. Clary told them about what happened on the boat that night but they didn't her when she said that she was one that destroyed the boat, Alec appeared and stood up for her. Clary proved her power by creating a rune." Rissa help me out here" Clary said and I sighed" you owe me" I mumbled and she smiled before I removed my jacket and spread my wings for everyone to see. Gasps filled the room as my feet left the ground but it only lasted a few seconds before my jacket was back on. I crossed my arms daring anyone to say it was a trick, or to call me a faerie." My sister can help you win the fight against Valentine, please just let her help you" I pleaded.

A few minutes later, I sat on the steps next to Clary watching as Simon climbed up one of the pillars holding up the building. Mom came over and I sighed before following Simon inside. We had only taken a few steps from the entrance, when the world blurred and I was pulled into the past.

"Mommy, where are we going" the little girl asked as her mother led her through the city.

" somewhere, where Daddy won't find us Rissa"

" why?"

Her mother didn't answer and the little girl knew not to ask anything more." Rissa.....Rissa....Rissa"

I was snapped out of it by Simo shaking my shoulders." Are you are alright/ I asked you something but you didn't answer"

" I'm sorry, I must have spaced out, what did you say?"

" I asked if you had the life span of a warlock?"

" Oh, I'm not sure. Guess I'll find out in a few years" I laughed but my smile disappeared and I stopped walking. He frowned" Rissa, what is it?"

" I said 'in a few years', how could I possibly know we'll even make through the week, what if what they say no"

" They will agree, they have to"

" and if they don't, Simon"

" What happen to the positive thinking Marissa, you haven't been the same in days"

" I did die Simon, not figuratively, I had no heart beat or anything, I was just gone. That changes people" I pointed out leaning against the wall.

" So was I remember"

" but you became a vampire" I added and he sighed" Rissa-"

"no Simon, what happened to both of us, they are two different things besides you were only half dead"

He didn't say anything more and I sighed creating a small flamed before spinning it around my fingers." if the rune Clary told us about works, would you use it" he asked and I thought about before shaking my head." This is my curse, I'd not rather not share it with anyone else" I told him and Magnus made his appearance at that very moment.

" Marissa, what you have is no curse, experiment or not"

I rolled my eyes and he raised an eyebrow." I believe your needed somewhere else Daylighter" Magnus told Simon his eyes glowing slightly and I don't think I've ever seen someone move so fast, even a vampire." You didn't need to scare him"

" he was asking to many questions, and you were dropping to many hints"

" Will I ever be able to tell them?"

" No, at least not yet" he sighed before we walked toward the hall where everyone was waiting.
