Sorry for the wait but I never give up on one of my books unless I'm starting over. Hope it was worth wait.

I stared at myself in the mirror and I wanted to cry. Isabelle had dyed my bangs dark blue, though there was nothing she could do for my face." What do you think" she asked and I looked at her with a smile" thanks Isabelle". She left and I sighed before walking over and walking over to the mirror, pulling at my now blue bangs." well....at least their my color" I smiled before  I was snapped out my amazement by the sweetest sound in the word. I looked down to see my kitten, Ardor." There you are you adorable little fur ball" I sighed picking her up, only to have her climb onto my shoulder. I laughed as she started purring in my ear, before she jumped down and disappeared out the door.

I rolled my eyes" traitorous little kitten" I mumbled. A few days ago, I had seen Jace( yes, Jace) walking around with my kitten on his shoulder, the little trader, acting all sweet and innocent but when a few minutes later, I found her using my favorite notebook as a scathing pad. I sighed before looking back in the mirror, only to jump back when I saw my father but as I did he was suddenly gone." What the heck" I mumbled stepping back toward the mirror, but my reflection stayed the same.

" I'm losing it" I mumbled shaking my head before I left my room and teleported to the hospital. I looked around as I stepped out of the bathroom, not seeing any nurses or doctors, I went over and sat next to my mom." I'm here mom, don't worry, your going to be fine. We may have a cure for you, so you can get better. Maybe then we can take that trip you were talking about" I told her before sighing.

" I'm trying mom, I really am but I think you were right....this world isn't for me but I guess now, there's no going back" I looked over to see a bunch of wilted flowers and glanced at the door to see it closed before I waved my hand causing them to bloom." I love you mommy but I wish you had just told me". Reaching into my pocket I pulled out a folded up piece of paper and set it next to the vase of flowers before I stood up. I smiled before turning and teleporting back to the Institute, I landed in the library, causing a letter opener to come flying at my head, luckily I ducked causing it to hit the shelf next to me. I looked over to Maryse Lightwood who gasped as I slid to the floor in shock." sorry Marissa" she apologized. I smiled before I got back up and went to find my sister who I found arguing with Jace....again, over her going to Idris or not. I smirked watching as Jace sent her back down in the elevator before I went over to him." You know she's going to keep arguing with you every time it's brought up, until you agree."

" How do you put up with her" he asked and I started laughing " I don't, I stopped arguing with her after our 7th birthday. You'll get used to it" I smiled before walking off.

A few hours later, I stood with the others as Magnus set up the portal that would take us to Idris. Isabelle smacked my hand again as I started pulling on my bangs again." your going to rip them out if you keep pulling on them, what is it with you two, no sense of style what so ever" She scolded me like I was a two year old and I rolled my eyes." And here I thought you were the smarter of the two"

" It was your idea, not mine. And I am" I pointed out before I noticed Simon a few feet away before Jace went to talk to him.

" oh, stop being a baby" She told me earning me another smack as I reached up to pull on them again. I was about to retort when Ardor appeared out of no where and launched herself at me. I stared at the little kitten confused." Ardor, what-" I was cut off as a bunch creatures appeared out of the mist." Forsaken!" Maryse cried and everyone started moving.

" Rissa" Magnus called and I ran over to help him get the stubborn portal open. Once it was open, everyone ran through but out of the corner of my eye, I saw a friend of mom's, Madeleine, on the ground with her throat slit. I was about to step through when something fell on top of me, knocking me to the ground and through the portal before every thing spun and blurred.
