Bea was looking intently at the girl in front of her. Napatingin naman ang babae sa kanya.

"Yes Doc?" she said still looking at her stack of patient result forms.

"Mads, look at me"

and this time the girl raised her head to look at Bea.

"Bei, you're thinking about her again" sabi ni Den sabay tap sa braso ni Bea.

"Uhhhmm. I'm, I'm sorry. I've mistaken you for someone." sabi ni Bea na nakayuko at nakahawak sa batok niya.

"Okay lang yun, Doc. I get that a lot. Universal ata yung mukha ko eh haha"

"Hard mo naman sa sarili mo haha" and then laughter filled the room.

"Haha! Sige mga Doc, mauuna na po ako. Got a lot of results to disseminate. Wala kasi yung clerk eh kaya ako nagiikot."

"Ahhh ganon ba? Thank you Tey ha?" sabi ni Den and flashed Tey her smile as shw walked out of the room.

"Grabe ka naman Bei, ganyan ka ba ka obsessed kay Maddie na siya na lang nakikita mo sa lahat? Haha!"

"Doc naman, you know where I came from kaya ganito dba?"

"Relax. Relax. I'm just kidding around. Seryoso mo naman haha"

Bea just walked back to the sofa after minutes of standing.

"Why do I keep on thinking about her? Ugh!" sabay sabunot ni Bea sa buhok niya "this is so frustrating!"

Young love yan na lang nasabi ni Den sa isip niya while smiling at Bea na halatang bad trip na.

"Oh. Nginingiti ngiti mo jan... Doc?" sabi ni Bea emphasizing the word 'Doc'. Ayaw na kasi ni Den na tinatawag siyang Doc ni Bea.

Den just shot her a death glare.

"What? This is our work place. We need to talk professionally"

"Pssssh. Dami mong alam" bulong ni Den sa sarili niya.

"What?"

"Wala. Ang sabi ko... Samahan mo ako sa Laboratory. Pakilala kita kay Ella before pa dumating yung CML patient ko."

"Pathologist siya?"

"Yup."

"Wow. I want to be a Patho too."

"You will be. Soon." sabay wink ni Den kay Bea.

"I will be" Bea said happily with a hint of doubt in her voice

They were walking on the hallways, on their way to the Laboratory. Since magkahiwalay ang building ng Laboratory and Doctor's Clinics, mejo malayo layo ang lalakarin nila kaya they have more time to talk to each other.

"Ate Den?"

"Hmmm?" tanong ni Den.

"Curious lang. Did your Parents agree to such relationship with Ate Aly?"

Den stopped walking and looked at Bea.

"Hmmm. You know what? Why don't we talk about you? Parati na lang ako nagkkwento eh"

"Your stories are much more interesting than mine, Doc"

"Psssh. Kakakilala ko lang sa'yo pero ang lakas mo na sa akin hah"
