Chapter 14

Maya Pov

"Hey everyone!" I yell to the camera.

Seven of us, all youtubers sit on the edge of my bed, waving at the camera.

"I'm here with JeanoChapo, Pointlessblog, Zoella, AmazingPhil, Thatcherjoe, and Danisnotonfire today!" I say joyfully.

"You really had to say us by our Youtuber names, didn't you?" Dan teases.

"Well now they know who to subscribe to." Jeana replies.

"Wait are you actually posting this? Or are you just showing the class?" Dad asks.

"I'll probably post it, I have no ideas for this week anyways." I shrug. "Anyways, let's get on with the video! We're doing a youtuber whispers, just because I love copying my awesome, creative, smart uncle."

Joe chuckles. "Oh shucks Maya you sure do know how to make my day."

We all laugh.

"Anyways, in case you don't know how to play, which I don't know how you wouldn't know how because everyone knows how."

Mum bursts out laughing. "Just get on with it!"

I giggle. "So basically, you put on noise cancelation headphones, say a sentence or whatever you want to say, then they have to repeat it to the next person who also have to wear the headphones. It's kinda like the game 'telephone.' You'll catch on through the game. Let's get started, shall we?"

They all cheer, and I sit Phil down on the bed with the headphones on and everyone else leaves.

"Ready Phil?" I ask.

"What?" He yells.

I can hear the music blasting out of the headphones, and I start to laugh, turning to the camera. "I got some sentences to say from twitter from you guys."

I turn back to Phil. "If you say I lemon juice, it doesn't look like I love you."

Phil makes a confused face. "Uhm, okay."

Jeana walks in and I put the headphones on her.

Phil clears his throat. "If you say I love lions it looks like olive juice."

I start laughing from behind them as Phil gives me a thumbs up. Jeana raises her eyebrows. "What?"

Dan walks in.

"And I said leopards says I love you." She says awkwardly.

Phil and I die of laughter. "WHAT!?" Phil yells. She joins us.

"What the hell did she just say?" Dan questions, confused.

Joe comes next.

"I say leopards said olive juice." Dan says almost like a question.

We all laugh even harder.

"What ever he just said was definitely not right." Joe yells.

Mum sits on the bed and puts on the headphones. "Thats loud!" She yells.

"Eleven leprechauns said I love you to each other." He yells.

We all die of laughter. "That's like, more than Dan even said!" I laugh.

"What just happened?!" Mum giggles.

Joe shrugs. "I honestly don't know!"

"Last person is my wonderful dad, Pointlessblog!" I call as he walks into the room.

"I... I think Joe said eleven leprechauns said olive juice to another." Mum stutters.

Alfie pulls back his head and falls onto the bed laughing. "That was not appropriate for Maya's class!"

"Um it was 100% appropriate." Mum says, taking off the headphones.

"Alright dad, what did you hear?" I ask, sitting next to him.

"The hoe and and oven sat and made juice together?" He says, questionably.

We laugh so loud, I'm sure the neighbours would file a complaint.

"That is so off, I just can't!" Dan yells.

"The real sentence is " 'if you say I lemon juice, it doesn't look like I love you'." I say in between laughs.

"Ohhhhhhh!" Everyone says together and then begin to laugh at their mistakes.

...

"Joey and Dan are the best youtubers because they don't fart as much as the others?" Jeana says for the final sentence.

"That's really close!" Mum says. "Except it was Zoe, not Joey."

Dan high fives her. "Yes Zoe! We truly are."

"Okay okay, this video has gone on for way too long." I smile. "Hope you all enjoyed this video!"

Everyone smiles brightly to the camera as I say my outro.

"Make sure to subscribe to all of these freaks and weirdos. Please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe because I make new videos every Monday."

The people around me put their thumbs up.

"Maya in a Deye out!" I yell, saluting the camera. Phil turns it off.

"Thanks guys!" I smile. "That was so fun!"

"You're gunna do great on your project, kiddo." Joe says, messing up my hair.

"Thanks for participating, I would probably get a zero if Phil didn't come." I laugh.

Phil giggles. "That teacher sure loves me, doesn't she?"

Jeana and I nod. "Okay Jeano, ready to make your video?"

...

I fall back onto my bed with Jeana next to me. "I'm all filmed out."

She nods. "Me too. Two videos is more than enough filming."

"How does Shane Dawson do it?" I ask.

She laughs. "We'll have to ask him one day."

"Wanna go to sleep? Or maybe we can watch Supernatural?" I ask, closing my eyes.

"Both." She exclaims before turning my TV on and scrolling down to Netflix, and then slipping under my covers.

I turn the lights off and join her. It's not long before we fall asleep.

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW

This story is super boring and you all hate waiting for the next chapter every week... but ugh my writers block is killing me. I really know what I wanna do with this book but I don't know how to get there.

And I didn't post last week because I was super busy and didn't have a chapter written for once and I'm sorryyyy :(

I'm really trying to balance my life with wattpad but I'm not good at it haha so please don't be upset :(
