My shift was coincidently scheduled to avoid Derek. I hadn't seen him since my awkward apology and I planned to keep it that way. For now my shifts were pleasantly based around seeing my true love Snickers and Sophie. We had become really close over the years, and I enjoyed working with her. Her management skills were the perfect opposite to my clumsy forgetful ways.
"So you and this Malik guy? Are you serious?" She asked as we both took a break to eat.
I thought about her question, pondering over the answer. I suppose we were something but exactly what that something is was very undecided. Zayn has made it clear through his actions I'm not to associate with any boys, but there was no saying what he was doing with other girls. This whole situation had been pretty one sided from the start. Zayn being the one side. Honestly it was frustrating and hurtful to imagine him with holding someone as he did with me, but at the moment I had little day in that.
"Well I do like him. I didn't at first but he's saved me, in more ways than one. And he does treat me well. He can get a bit aggressive with certain people but he makes me feel safe. As for a relationship we haven't really spoke of it. I suppose he's just as much anybody'a as he is mine." I sighed stabbing my fork into the salad I hadn't really been eating.
"Do you want him to make you his girlfriend?" She inquired further.
"Would it be mad to say yes? I know people are weary about his actions, but there's so much they don't know. To be fair there's many things I don't know, but I like him regardless."
She twirled her wavy auburn hair keenly listening to my rambling. I couldn't help but smile at how much she enjoyed this conversation. Her bright blue eyes intently watched as I spoke of Zayn. She was rather excited I had another boy in my life besides Alex, so this was all very intriguing to her.
"Well I think you should just ask him. I mean it's clear he doesn't want you with anyone else. And it's not fair that he gets to mess with other girls and you can't talk to other boys. Even if you didn't want to he shouldn't have a say."
Little did she know confronting Zayn was not a simple task by any means.
"Your right. Well He's coming over tonight, so I suppose I could hint towards the subject then?"
"That's my girl." She smiled, showing off her perfect teeth. She was very young looking, her features not to bold but extremely pretty.
"Come one lets work!" I laughed.

I walked home disregarding Zayn's opinion. I would probably get an earful about how he could have picked me up, but the gentle breeze outside was too nice to resist.
I was currently scrolling through tumblr, aimlessly looking for something to entertain me before Zayn arrived. When a settle knock was heard at my door I smiled knowing all to well who it was. I peered over my lap top to discover a breathtaking boy in my room. His head of jet black locks seeming to never get old, always making me smile when I spotted his attractive features.
"Hello gorgeous." He smiled.
I closed my lap top and sat crossed legged on the bed. I opened up my arms with big smile. Zayn let out a laugh before walking over and placing his lips against my own. My hands stayed a wrapped around his neck willing him to lean further on the bed. He complied, easing me on my back. When our lips detached he was hovered above me, knees in either side of my hips.
"Good to see you too." He smiled placing one last kiss to my cheek.
"What did you do all day?" I asked as he kicked his shoes off.
