My eyes still felt heavy, as I pried them open. Zayn's comforting touch was no where on my body. instead I felt the cold feel of the unfamiliar white sheets and the eyes of a middle aged man watching intently.

"Who are you?" I asked softly, my throat incredibly dry.

"I'm Dr.Roads, I just came to unhook all the wires and things. Also to inform you when to come back for a check up."

"A check up for what?"

"Well it seems that your anxiety attacks have returned. The medication you were taking, until the age of sixteen?"
I shook my head as to say yes.

"Well that medication has to be taken still. This last attack has triggered your previous disorder. The medication, as you know, will subside the affects of your attacks if not get rid of them completely, but you'll probably have to take this medication for most of your life. Maybe even two a day if an obscene amount of added stress is occurring." He informed further of the side affects and spoke to me about how many milligrams I should be taking a day, but my mind was focused else where.

"Did you happen to see my.. boyfriend?" I mumbled out when his little speech was over.

"Oh yes, he told me to tell you that today is very busy and if not him than Liam will be by to take care of you."
The fight was today.

"T-thank you. can I leave n-now?" I asked worriedly, trying my best to sound calm.

"Yes your free to go, but please Ms. Parker take an easy. These attacks will only get worse."

"I will." I spoke quietly in the most unconvincing tone.

"I hope you do." With that he quietly left, leaving me with
The haunting words regaling in my mind. I shouldn't be worried so much, but Zayn was putting himself in significant danger all because of me. I had been the cause of the problem and should be the one to end it.
I quickly got dressed and aggressively dialed Zayn's number into my phone. The rings kept going leaving me in a unwanted state of suspense.
No answer.
My heart had nearly stopped. This was it. All I had been dreading in this one moment. I was alone and he was out fighting for me.

I took a cab to Zayn's apartment running up the steps only to find it empty. I hadn't expected him to be here but the idea had wishfully sprung to mind.
My feet searched every inch of the flat, finally deciding on Zayn's bed. I sat on the edge reliving every moment we had together. Every small touch that made me giggle, or every word that brought a smile to his perfectly sculpted face.
My wild curls draped over my shoulder, my cheeks stained with worried tears. Was I crazy? Had I made a mistake falling in love with Zayn? Every moment we shared couldn't have been wasted, but somehow it felt as if circles were all we could ever go in.
A subtle creek of a door jolted my body to snap out of the saddened daze.

"Zayn?" I pleadingly whispered in hope.

"Juliet are you here!? Juliet!" Liam's voice called out through the apartment, he sounded so defeated and scared.
I immediately got to my feet rushing to the sitting room where the front door was.
I quickly stopped in my steps as I took in Liam's disheveled appearance. His eyes were bloodshot matching the tear stained cheeks that menacingly appeared on his handsome face.

"Oh dear god Liam what happened?"
I rushed to him pulling him in for a hug. His body stayed frigid, fresh tears hitting my shoulder as I squeezed him close.

"They s-shot him Juliet. It was suppose to be a clean fight but they shot him! I was suppose to protect him Juliet, I watched it happen! they pulled out a gun and ran." The words fell from his mouth in utter disbelief as my body just shuttered in shock. Zayn was shot? I threw my arms off of him and stared him dead in the eyes.
