"Juliet Parker, seems like you were in here just yesterday." Dr.Roads smirked un hooking my Iv and whatever else they had me hooked up to.
"I guess I'm not the best at taking direction." I half heartedly joked. "Any new advice, I promise to listen this time."
"We'll get to you in a moment. I actually came in here to talk to you about your boyfriend, Mr.Malik. As you know the ICU (intensive care unit) took him in for emergency medical attention. Well the bullet ruptured an artery."
My breath was shortening again.
"We couldn't get it out. Ms.parker I'm truly very sorry...but there just wasn't anything we could do. I hate to throw all this at once, but I didn't want you to hear it later and have another attack."
The soft tone of his voice didn't stop the eruption of tears and panic that washed over me.
"He can't be! Zayn's d-dead?" I cried."
"I'm so sorry Ms.Parker there was nothing we could do." He reached his arm out at an attempt to comfort me, but I rejected his touch recoiling into myself.
"ZAYN! PLEASE COME BACK TO M-
*End of dream*
My eyes shot open. I could barley control my breathing, my chest was rapidly moving at an irregular pace.
It was only a dream.
I wiped the gathered perspiration off my forehead and took in my surroundings. I was in the same room as before, the white walls just as uninviting. Once again I was alone, left with only my thoughts and the memories of that surreal dream.
**LIAMS POV**
"Is there a family member for Mr. Zayn Malik here?"
The doctor spoke the words with grief in his tone.
"Did you say Malik!" An all to familiar voice interjected before I could even speak.
I turned to see eccentric blue eyes full of worry watching me as I walked to meet the doctor.
"Louis mate, I'm so glad you here." I sighed, my voice a little hoarse from the attempts to push the lumps out of my throat.
I called Louis in my anxious wait, needing someone to endure this wait of potentially deathly news. Juliet was clearly unavailable and the only other person who could possibly understand was Louis. We had all been friends since were little boys, but he was smart enough to get out unlike me and Zayn.
"Ofcourse. I came as soon as you called."
"Are you two family?" the doctor questioned, interrupting our secluded conversation.
"I'm assuming there is no family." he inquired after me and Louis stayed quiet.
"well please follow me, is prefer to give the details in a bit more private setting."
We'd allowed him into a secluded corridor, the walls a boring shade of beige.
"First off in Dr.Lockheart"
"I'm Liam, and this is my friend Louis. we've known Zayn since before we could walk."
"Well boys I'll be honest Your friend is not doing well. The bullet ruptured an artery causing not only a massive amount of external bleeding but internal as well. We were able to stop the bleeding external wise, but the internal bleeding could only be stopped if we took the bullet out and by doing hat we risked an over flow of blood and potentially fatal consequences. His body will have to adjust to the bullet, if it adjusts to the bullet, we will gradually began to rebuild his immune system with special vitamins and things like that. For now all we can do is wait, if his condition falters even slightly it could be the end." He spoke in a very informative tone, but sincerity shown through. He clearly felt some sympathy for our fallen comrade in the way he said each detail with an assuring look at the end.
"Thank you for you honesty doc. Can we see him?" Louis quickly asked, his voice a bit solemn.
"Yes, He's asked to see a woman in particular though, Juliet?"
"I figured, can we all go see him?"
"Ofcourse, I'll leave his room number at the front desk and once your ready go right in in." he smiled leaving me and Louis to properly process what had just been said to us.
"I guess well break the news to Juliet."
"What a great way to introduce myself." Louis sighed following my lead to her room.
