I woke up happy as ever Jacob gave me a key to his house. It would have been perfect if it was our house but this was a start. I couldn't believe how fast all these feelings came. Usually I don't let anyone in and I find a red flag instantly but with Jacob it was different. I turned around jumping on him. "Wake up baby" I smiled kissing his cheek. He smiled with the million of kisses I was giving him. "Get up you have to go to work" I said.
"I'm getting up" he groaned. I finally got off of him. "Make me some breakfast" he said
"Um no not today I don't feel like it plus you're almost late" I said pointing towards the clock. "Oh shit" he said dodging to the bathroom. "I know why" I smirked grabbing my phone. I read my text message from my girlfriend Drew.
"I'm back in town wanna hit the club tonight? She asked. And I started to think the last time we hung out was when that shooting started and I was drunk as hell and almost ended my life but then again I have been booed up with Jacob for a minute. I needed to see my girls and break the good news. I replied yes, I got up grabbing my bags. I was going to hit the gym, head home take a shower then go to the hair salon. He finally came out of the shower with the towel wrapped around his waist. Umm he looked too good "Going somewhere" he asked
"Yes, I'm heading to the gym then later on I'm hanging out with my girls" I explained. "Awww so I'm not in your schedule today huh? He chuckled.
"Nope girls day out" I said. "Well, gimme a kiss before you leave" he said biting his lip which I loved.
Later that Day
I got in my friend Drew's jeep I felt like I was 18 again cruising the streets with my crew. It was me in the front with Drew my sister in the back and Koren. Drew turned up the radio and Party Favors by Tinashe came on I began rolling my hips side to side the side.
"This chick" Jackie said.
"You can sit down Tia we all know you're getting the dick" she said. I laughed sitting down for my safety and Drew quickly turned down the volume. "Oh you better spill why the hell didn't you tell me? Drew asked looking slightly disappointed.
"Because she's been dickmatized" Jackie said. "Would you shut up and no I'm not I just a lot has been going I'll tell you later" I promised
"Well, is it good? She whispered. I smirked and they all began laughing.
Jacob
My boss called us in immediately we had to do some crazy investigation. Usually I don't do investigations but I didn't mind I sat in the meeting room as our chief passed all of us a folder. "Wonder what the big deal is today" Daniel laughed.
"I know right" I said
"Good evening you all, I know you're all wondering why I called you in here. I know you all probably had plans or activities but this will only take about 45 minutes" he said
He turned on the projector logging in to open up the slide. The first thing that came up was a familiar face of a man I swear I saw before. "Santana Rodriquez has been on our list for sometime we think he's a potential drug trafficker, drug lord, king pin whatever you name it. We assume he has been doing some illegal drug trade throughout the metropolitan area such as Newyork, NewJersey, Maryland, Philadelphia and Delaware" he explained turning the slide. I looked down taking some notes.
"A couple of potential suspects that may be involved are Morgan Shannon Love, Mario Lewis and former girlfriend Tia Chrisette Love"
When I heard the last name "Love" I quickly looked up to see in fact a picture of Tia and I'm guessing her cousin she told me about. I felt the pit of my stomach churn. This could not be true. Daniel and a couple of others looked over at me. I felt so embarrassed my damn career was on the line. I felt like I wanted to punch something "You good bro" he asked.
"Y-yeah" I said crushing the paper my boss gave us. I quickly got up leaving the presentation I had to get out there and I had to get to Tia. Did she really try to hide this shit? Did I save a fucking criminal? She has me fucked up!
