Chapter 22: Beautifully Ruined

Two Days Later

The past two days have been horrible. Words cant describe the pain my sister was going through. She hasnt said a word these two days, literally nothing. She won't eat a thing. She just wants to be by herself which I understand. I'm just scared to leave her alone. She sat on the bed staring at the wall not even catching a blank. The girl hasnt even cried I sat on the bed next to her rubbing her back. "It's okay sissy things happens sometimes God gives the most battles to his strongest soilders" I said. I know it was bull I even hated when people would give me corny lines to make me feel better but I didnt know what else to do or say. "You hungry? I asked her. She shook her head "You have to eat Tia or you'll make yourself sick you definitely have to eat now because you just took a pain killer" I explained. She looked to the side laying back down. I picked my phone up to make and order. I didn't feel like cooking a thing. I came out of her room looking at my mom she was just as sad as me. "The damn guy did this to her" she scoffed. I rolled my eyes at my mom although I didnt like the things Jacob said to my sister I know he was trying and is still a good guy they just unfortunately were put in some bad situations way too early. I heard a knock on the door and I knew it was Jacob he said he would come by and I was kind of nervous for him she still wasnt doing good two days ago when he saw her. I opened the door to see him with his uniform on and a bouquet of flowers. "H-hey" he said

"Hello" I said. "How's she doing? He asked.

"Not so well" I said. I watched him walk as he greeted my mother.

Jacob

I opened the door to her room to see her sitting there with a blank expression on her face. I was surprised she didnt kick me out but she was probably too deep in thought to do that. "Hey beautiful" I said placing her flowers on the vase. I could feel her watching me place them on her counter. I sat next to her "Wanna talk about it? I asked. She shook her head looking down at the bed. "I'm sorry babe, this isnt your fault okay. I dont look at you any differently okay" I said. Lifting her head up a little she moved it to the side rolling over.

"I know it's crazy how all this happened so fast and we barley knew each other but I just want you to know I still would have been there if the baby was here" I said. I looked over at her laying down "We're going to get through this alright" I said

I guess I should get going I wasn't going to sit here and not have her talk to me I just couldn't do it. The more I saw how broken she looked the more it made me sad.I got from off the bed and walked towards her pecking her cheek. I looked at her one more time before closing the door. I guess I'll try this again in a couple of days. As I walked past I noticed Tia's mom was mugging me and looking at me up and down but when I first met her I was her son and all of that. "So your just going to walk away? HA!Typical" She said.

"Ma" Jackie said. She was outline "I'm giving her space" I said.

"Okay we'll see young man" She said taking a sip of her tea. "With all due respect Miss Jill I am not your typical man I love and care for your daughter now if I didn't care I wouldn't be here in the first place" I explained

"I'll give you a few days" she said

"I'm sorry you feel that way but I'm not going anywhere. We may be on bad terms but I'm fixing it. And then it'll be years from then on. I said leaving out. I could tell she was impressed but her attitude hid it. "See ya Jackie" I said before closing the door
