Niall's pov

No matter what I did I couldn't fall asleep. I even started counting sheep, but it didn't help at all. I laid there just staring at the ceiling, I looked at my watch

3:45 am

I cursed under my breath, I was never gonna get any sleep. Then I heard crying, is Jessica crying? I got up and made my way back to the bedroom. I found her crying in her sleep, she was tossing and turning, she had little beads of sweat on her forehead. I grabbed her shoulders and shook her gently to wake her up. "Hey, it's ok, Jessica wake up " Her eyes shot open and I could see fear in her eyes. She sat up and wrapped her arms around my neck burying her head into my chest. She was sobbing uncontrollably now and I could feel her tears running down my bare torso. I put my arms around her and started rubbing circles on her back, "Shh..it's ok, it was just a bad dream, I'm here, it's ok "

"I'm sorry Niall "

"For what? " she looked up at me so our eyes met

"you told me not to go to that party and you were right Niall, I shouldn't have been there, oh Niall I was so scared, if you hadn't of been there, Tom would have..oh Niall " she buried her face back in my chest and continued crying.

"Hey, it's ok, you're safe with me, I won't let anyone hurt you, ever "

"I love you Niall "

"I love you too Jessica, try and get some sleep" I started to get up, but her grip around me tightened.

"please stay with me? " her voice sounded so weak, she tried to hide it, but I always saw straight through her acts. " please don't leave "

"I won't " we laid down on the bed still wrapped in each others arms. We had never slept in the same bed, it sent shivers up and down my spine. I finally relaxed and drifted off to sleep. I really do love her, she's my world and I'm not gonna let anything happen to her.

*in the morning*

I woke up with Jessica still in my arms. I really didn't want to wake her, so I quietly slipped out of bed. I put a pair of basketball shorts and a T-shirt at the foot of the bed for her when she woke up. I went to the kitchen to make breakfast. When I finished I set it up for her on the table because I didn't have any breakfast trays to take it to the bed. I grabbed a couple aspirin and a glass water and walked back to the bedroom. I opened the door and found her changed and back under the covers " Wake up sleeping beauty "

"no, I have a headache " she groaned at me. I chuckled a little at her

"that's called a hangover, and that's why I brought these " I held out the aspirins as she sat up to take them. Her hair was going in almost every direction, Jessica would freak if she saw her reflection, but I thought it was cute. I put my hand on both sides of her head trying to flatten her morning hair and I let my hands stop on her cheeks and we just stared at each other for a few minutes. Jessica broke the silence, thank God.

"Niall, are you gonna let me take these pills so my head will stop pounding? " I removed my hands immediately

"yeah, sorry " she took the pills and looked back up at me

"Um, I.. I want to thank you for last night, but um.. um "

"Jess spit it out "

"why did you follow me to the party? "

"well I knew you would go even when I told you not to and I wanted to keep an eye on you "

"do you not trust my Niall? "

"of course I trust, it's other people I don't trust "

"other people? you mean like Tom? "

"I swear if I ever see that little shit again I will kill him!" I tried to say as calmly as I could, but Jessica still flinched from my voice

"Niall, no, please don't"

"Jessica, why are you defending him? He was gonna rape you if I wasn't there " I pulled her into a bone-crushing hug which she returned "I wasn't gonna let him take your innocence like that "

"Niall I-"

"Jess listen to me, I love you with all my heart and it makes me sick to think of any other guy to so much as look at you " I pulled away from our hug and pecked her softly on the lips, she looked at me in shock. "I'm sor-" I was cut off by Jessica smashing her lips onto mine. Our lips moved together so in sync and our lips felt like they fit together perfectly, I swiped my tongue across her lip begging for entrance with she allowed immediately, we explored ever inch of each others mouths. I bit her bottom lip earning a moan from her and she slid her hand up into my hair and started tugging lightly which really turned me on. I held on to her waist as tight as possible, I wouldn't dare let go of her. I started to lay her down on the bed when Jessica pulled away.

"wait Niall, whoa, what are we doing? "

"I don't know " I answered honestly. What were we doing? That kiss.. wow...just wow! That was amazing, that was the best kiss I've ever had, it sent chills up and down my spine and it felt like fireworks were erupting in my stomach. I didn't know you could feel like that from one kiss.

"Wow, that just answered all my questions "

"What questions? "

"If you really like me and if I really like you "

"So what's the verdict? " I said putting a smirk on my face

"Yes "
