Chapter 26

Niall's pov

Jessica and I have been at the gym for a few hours now and I can tell she's getting bored. I think for once I'll do what she wants to do, I walked over to the bench she was sitting on and sat down beside her. "Hey babe, I'm done with practice. I was just wondering if you want to go somewhere after I take a shower "

"Somewhere... like where? "

"I don't know, I thought you might want to go shopping or something "

"really?! " her eyes lit up and I nodded.

"I just gotta take a shower "

"aww, thanks " she hugged and kissed my cheek "eww... your sweaty "

"I'm sweaty? " I asked sarcastically and started tickling her making her laughter fill the room "I'm sweaty? " I continued tickling her and she squirmed so much trying to get away that she fell on the floor. I fell down as well and quickly put my legs on either side of her so she couldn't get away and I kept tickling her.

"HAHAHA.... NIALL... NIALL STOP!.... AAAAHHH.. EWW, EWW, EWW YOU'RE SWEATY! " When it looked like she was struggling to breath I stopped tickling her "gross! " she laughed.

"Well as I seem to recall, the last time I was sweaty and on top of you, you didn't mind so much " I smirked at her and she blushed bright red. She pushed me off of her and sat up to lean against the bench.

"When did you get so cheeky? "

"I've been spending a lot of time with Harry I guess " she laughed

"ok, well go shower "

I got to the gym shower and stripped of my sweaty clothes and turned the water on to feel it run down my skin. I let my thoughts take over and just let everything that was going on run through my mind. But what I thought about the most was of course... Jessica. I know I told her I could wait but, sometimes she just drives me crazy, the way she bites her lip when she's thinking or just the way she walks, I really love her, and I never thought our friendship could turn into this, but I'm so happy it did.

I hopped out of the shower and dried off and quickly got dressed in my white, Havana tank top, some blue jeans and my white sneakers. I walked out of the locker room and saw Jessica smiling at her phone "What are you smiling about? " She looked up from her phone and smiled even wider

"guess who just called me and guess what they said! "

"Eh... Carlie and she's eaten all the nutella " I smiled trying to be funny

"No silly. That was Perrie and... " she stood up and walked closer to me

"and..... What?! "

"Zayn proposed! And they're getting married! " she screamed jumping up and down

"That's great! " I had trouble speaking from laughing at Jessica's dance slash scream party. When she finally settled her feet on the floor I pulled her into a hug. She pulled out of the hug and put her phone in her pocket. "You ready to go? "

"Sure... but you have to catch me first! " and with that she took off running through the gym, I quickly dropped my bag and chased after her. She ran to the back and through the storage room door where I knew I could trap her. The door shut before I got to it so I slowed down and gently pushed it open. It was dark and I couldn't see much, but I knew she couldn't get away.

"Princess... you know I'll find you.... Where are you? " I felt around with my arms stretched out in front of me and suddenly I felt a pair of hands on my waist and they spun me around then I felt a pair of very soft, familiar lips on mine.
