To be honest, I missed flying during my time here on Tarus. It’s probably the only thing that reminds me of my father, because he taught me how to. As I walk out to the launching platform, I see the ship that Carth made for me. I also see many pilots preparing their ships and soldiers preparing to leave. The soldier’s uniforms and armor are that of the Old Republic, a black jumpsuit covered by white armor and body plates. Their squad identified by the color on their shoulder plates. I walk up to one squad and ask how everything is coming alone. They immediately stop what they are doing and salute me. I reply saying, “At ease.” They tell me everything is good to go and ready for launch. I nod and move on. It feels so weird to have all these soldiers willing to obey my command. I send the signal to the General that we are ready to attack just as Bella approaches me. She has a troubled look on her face. “What are you doing? You should be boarding the Star Cruiser, with everyone else.” I will lead the battle ships to punch through Tarus’ defenses while the Star Cruisers land on Tarus to transport our soldiers, weapons, and the tribe’s people.
“That’s what I wanted to talk about. So, flying. Is it, bad?”
I burst out laughing with the thought of Bella being afraid of something. And something as little as flying? She angrily punches me in response. “It’s nothing. You’ll be okay. I promise.”
“Ok. Good luck out there.”
She walks away to the gigantic Star Cruiser. I walk to my ship, with R3 in the astromech droid compartment. I turn on the controls as my ship hovers up in the air. “Let’s lock and load,” I say to my communicator.
My ship lifts up in the air, finally reaching up to space. My monitor blinks with a yellow light, signaling that my allies are prepared for hyperspace jump. First, I have to do role call. “Delta Squad, check in.”
"Delta One standing by."
"Delta Two standing by."
"Delta Three standing by.”
"Delta Four standing by.”
"Delta Leader standing by," I reply. Then, we all jump through hyperspace. Finally, we arrive, coming extremely close to a blockade. They must have knew we were coming. This seems disturbing. How could Ran possibly know that we were coming? Just then I sense a disturbance in the Force. Then, I direct my communications to the Jedi. "Scorch, I'm going to punch a hole. Watch my back. Aayla, Quilura, You lead the rest of the troops towards the starships."
"Got it," Quilura replies.
I accelerate in the group of fighters. I laser blast three in one shot and use my missal to damage a Star Cruiser's weapons system.
"Nice shooting Ace," Scorch says.
I weave through enemy ships, launching missals at oncoming ships. Colorful laser bolts decorate space, coming and going to and from enemies. One Star Cruiser in particular is focusing their fire on our transports. We can’t risk losing all our troops.
"Follow my lead Scorch; I'm going to fly by the main cruiser. You take the Upper City while my squad and I rendezvous at the Capital Building."
“Ten-four.”
I fly around the front of their cruiser, distracting them from firing at my allies.
Then, I fly through the main hangar, releasing all my explosives. I grin as I hear the big explosion in the background. “Ok, guys prepare to drop down on the city,” I say to my squad. Then, I drop my ship down to the surface of the planet. Finally, I will have my revenge! Finally I will confront Ran.
