The War Is Over!

“I now pronounce you leader of the New Republic. Without you bravery, we would never be standing here. We needed a hero, and you sure gave us one.”

I bow as I am given a medal of honor. Everyone I know and more people are here to celebrate the victory over the war.

After the ceremony, everyone goes to the banquet. It has been a long day. Many people have been asking questions, congratulating me, or even (mostly little kids) asking for my autograph. Just then Carth comes up tp me and puts his arm around me. I pull him close and do what I have been waiting to do again for a long time. I kiss him, and at that moment, feel a sense of relief and trust. I grin as I look back and she Janson and Bella kissing as well. All seems as it should be. Finally, I have time to enjoy my victory. Even though I know people will want to rebel or other planets will want to attack, I am still happy the war is won. Once again, the galaxy is at peace. For now…
