The next few days with Dean fly by. We stay in Texas for the entire week until Friday morning, when we're supposed to get on a plane to Nevada. We only have 6 hours in Nevada, for Dean to go to his apartment and pack his bags for the European tour, do a quick workout and then go back to the airport to fly to Canada for the weekend.

Since my birthday on Tuesday, Dean and I have been better than ever. Both our moods seem to be better than ever, we've been spending a lot of time together and we haven't had a fight or disagreement the entire week.

We've gone for dinner twice, once alone and once with Seth and Paige. Both times, Dean was on his good behaviour, only commenting on the slow service twice, and demanding the waitress bring back his disgusting food once. I tasted his food, it was fine, but apparently he thought it was ice cold.

I've gone to both of his live shows with him, and both times he won his match. In the second match, he pointed to the ring I bought him in a Texas store while standing on the corner belt buckle to celebrate his victory.
I claimed it was only a few dollars, but in reality the ring was was pretty expensive. I thought he would like it, it's a simple silver band with gold lining around the centre of the ring. It looks really nice on his hands and he hasn't taken it off since I got it for him.

"Riles, can you do me a favour and make sure I packed my phone charger?" Dean calls from in the bathroom. It's been a hectic Friday morning, Dean was at a live show late last night and we forgot to set an alarm. Now we have an hour to make it to the airport and get on our plane.

"You did, I saw" I call, zipping my gigantic suitcase shut and pulling it off the bed. We really need to get going, and I'm frustrated with myself that I left packing out bags until the morning of. If we're behind schedule for the whole day, we could miss a flight and screw up our whole weekend. It's stressful needless to say.

"I'm done" Dean says, drying his freshly shaved face. He's been talking all week about how nervous he is about formally meeting my dad again, because last time he didn't have enough time to make a formal impression on him. He got a haircut yesterday by the hair and makeup team, and now that he's shaved, he looks much more put together.

Don't get me wrong, I love his "messy and wild" look, but sometimes it's nice to see him without stubble and crazy hair.

"Got the passports?" I ask, reading over a list in my head of everything we need.

"Don't worry, I have money, keys, airplane tickets and passports" he reassures me, taking both his and my suitcase in his hands and rolling them behind him. It'll be nice to go home and get some new clothes from my closet, since I've been wearing the same outfits for 4 months now. Sure, I've washed them but it'll be nice to change it up a little bit.

"We have to go now" I walk out the hotel room door and hold it open for Dean. We don't have time to say goodbye to any of our friends, so we're going to have to text them from the airport.

"Riley, try to relax a little bit. Whatever happens, happens" Dean says, clearly noticing my shaky hands and anxiousness. I'm stressed about everything. If we're late for a flight, who knows when the next flight to Canada or Nevada will be. Our whole weekend could be set behind.
