You were being rushed through hallways. You didn't know why, but you were. You were spread out on a hospital bed. Doctors screaming at each other to move out of the way. Your head lolled right and you saw kids around your age in a panic. They were in giant tanks filled with a blue liquid. They were banging on the glass bubbles covering most of their faces. Before realizing what you just saw you were pushed through a set of metal doors into a room filled with closed curtains and the sound of people groaning in pain.
"What happened?" A doctor to your left said. He had grey hair and his skin was wrinkled.
"We don't know. But she is loosing blood fast. We didn't find any objects in the body, all internal bleeding. Straight from the heart. She has a broken leg and arm, pretty bad brain damage, and a mild concussion. We really can't do anything to help her. She won't survive." A woman with her black curly hair tied back in a high pony tail said. She was young, maybe in her 30's. Her dark eyes met your (E/C) ones. "We're sorry." She directed that to you.
"What happened?" The man doctor asked.
"She was the first one, she went a little crazy from being alone. She started arguing with herself earlier today, she said she couldn't take it any more. Then she ran in and made it all the way to the Cliff. She jumped off. They were going to send another in today. He would have helped, I guess. But before we could, she jumped. There was no way of stopping her." Her eyes started to tear up.
You know exactly what she is talking about. The Maze. You hated it there. You hated every second of everyday. And you told yourself to hang on, just for a bit longer. But you couldn't. The visions were killing you. You don't know what they mean, but you sure hope they don't mean anything bad. You considered taking your eyes out once. But you knew they would only get worse. Permanent. That's what you were afraid of. So you finally got pushed over the edge mentally. So you physically did the same. The Maze was just too much.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Then it stopped. People started rushing towards you.
You felt yourself shut down completely.

You sat bolt up.
"Oh! Shuck!" You heard from beside you and then a bang.
You look over to see Thomas laid out on the floor with one leg over the side of a tipped over chair.
You look around cautiously. Still confused by what you had just saw.
"Well, someone is up early." Thomas said getting up but you ignored him.
You looked outside to see the sunrise.
What? Sunrise? How long was I out? How could it be dawn already? You thought to yourself.
"Hey, Greenie. You alright?" Thomas asked.
"Yes. No. I really don't know." You reply rubbing your arms.
"You seem a little pale. Do you feel sick?"
"I'm not sick."
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
"Okay."
Thomas gets up to leave. You panic for a second, hating the thought of being alone after what you just saw.
"Wait!" You said without thinking.
"Yeah?" He turns back around and looks at you with a strange look on his face.
"N-Nevermind." You stutter back.
"Call if you need anything." He says then leaves.
You need sometime to think over this.
