He sat up and looked at me. He just shook his head and layed back down. I looked down at the floor silent I didn't know what to say or do.

"Damn Lani. Should've known. So what was it?  You took the first opportunity you could to get out of a relationship with me to go fuck the next nigga you supposedly in love with?"

"Cai I'm-"

"No Lani." He said putting his hand up.

"Boy you know what you got a lot of room to talk saying as you're the one who fucked some hoe while we were in a relationship. We wasn't even together when I slept with Mike due to your fuck up. So please, please save that shit for the birds, goats, cows. Whatever damn animal you wanna save it for cuz I don't want to hear it. But you still see me in here trying to help you get your memory back because I love you." I crossed my leg and sat back and glared at him and he was about to open his mouth when Tre came in the door. He stopped in the door way and looked between us and walked back out and in again.

"Did I interrupt something, cuz I feel all the tension in the room."

"No we're-"

"Your innocent little brother over here talking about me having sex with Mike and we wasn't even in a relationship but he had sex with someone while we was in a relationship."

"She's right Cai. You can't say nor get mad about shit."

"But it's like she couldn't wait to get out of a relationship with me cuz she threw that rung at me so fast like it wasn't shit. Then go fuck the next nigga."

"He has a point there too, but look I'm not y'all's counselor. So y'all fix this. Lani did you think about what I said?"
I slowly nodded my head. "Well whatever the decision you need to fix it." I stood up and walked to Tre.

"I am about to go meet me at Booyo's at 11:30. Love you." I kissed his cheek and walked towards the door.

"Kehlani?"

"Yes Mordecai?" I asked slightly annoyed.

"I love you." My face softened and I smiled a little.

"I love you too." I walked out the door and went to Mike's house. 

"Hey baby." I walked to him and straddled his lap. I kissed him and he instantly kissed me back. I played in his curls and said hey back. I put my hands on his shoulders and felt he was really tense.

"Why are you so tense?" I asked massaging his shoulders.

"I'm trying to get my trap back together and I'm missing my mamas like hell man. I'm missing my nigga Rio."

"Baby he killed your mom. He wasn't your nigga to begin with. He deserved what he got for that shit. I just wish I could've done it. And I been done told you I could help you with the trap."

"And I done told you I don't want you involved cuz you can get hurt."

"Well what if I don't want you hurt? You got millions maybe more saved up. Why you still in the game?"

"Cuz it can't ever hurt to have more money. Why you care we ain't together anyway." I sucked my teeth and got off him and stomped up the stairs. I can't believe this nigga just said this shit. I went in the bathroom and threw my hair in a messy bun and jumped on the sink and stared at the door. I was zoned out and I saw Mike was in. I swear I locked that damn door.

"Get the hell out. I don't even wanna see your face right now."

"Lani don't be like that. You know I was just playing."

"You didn't sound like you was playing you know I love yo ignorant ass." I said hitting his chest. He grabbed my waist and pulled me off the counter.

"I love you and that ass and I can fix that real quick so you should know I wasn't serious." He lifted my chin and kissed me. I threw my arms around his neck and he picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He walked out the bathroom and threw me on the bed. I smiled seductively and pulled him on top of me. He was trying not to lay on my stomach so I moved and got on top of him and kissed him again. I started feeling nauseous and got off him and ran to the bathroom.

"Lani you okay?"

"Yeah." I yelled hold up my hand and puking my guts out. I opened the cabinet and got out a bag with my name on it and got my toothbrush to brush my teeth. Mike came in when he heard the water turn on and put his hands around my waist and on my stomach.

"You got a baby bump now."

"Yeah I do." He smiled and kissed my bare shoulder.

"It's cute asf. I can't believe you're pregnant. Too bad it isn't mine." I nodded my head in agreement with him. But I wanted kids with Cai. And I think, no I know he's gonna be a good father I'm just confused of who I want right now. I turned around and layed my head on chest and he played in my hair.

"I love you."He said.

"I love you too."

I was sitting in Booyo's waiting for Tre and he finally walked in. He sat down in the booth across from me leaned back and relaxed.
"Aight so wassup?"

"So I thought about what you asked me and the answer is no. If Mike would've done this then I would've gave him another chance. I thought about it the whole way down here and I want Mike." 

"Well you need to make that clear to Cai and don't give him a bullshit reason either cuz ik how you are. Tell him the truth. What about the baby?"

"I guess we can coparent. But I'm gonna wait until he gets out which is tomorrow and our birthday party is friday. I'm so excited. Although I can't drink which makes me mad." He smiled and laughed at me.

"You'll be okay. All I know is you better not do nothing to hurt my neice or nephew. You got names?"

"Yeah if it's a boy Khamari Kaiden if it's a girl Za'Neiva Nichole."

I stepped out the shower and wrapped the towel around me to go get some clothes. The door bell rung and I threw on a tank and shorts really quick to answer it. I opened the door and stood there like I've seen a ghost. I got a gut feelings my life is about to take a roller coaster to the past. Tears slid down my face and I tried to bring my self to say his name.

"Mar-ma-Marian."
