A Hobbit and A Dwarf

XI : Bard

No orcs are seen, we have out run them! But not for long i guess. The current is gone and we go to shore. Fìli helps me out of my barrel and we help Kìli out of his'. He walks and sits down to look at his knee. He tries to hide that he is hurt, but Fìli and I know better. He surely is in pain. Fìli put on a bandage to his knee while the others are enjoying the little moment of peace.

Fìli's POV

Kìli's wound is pretty bad. There are black stains on my fingertips. I look up to ask her if there is a possibility of poison. She is looking at somewhere else. I think my body is getting really tired, she looks different. Then i realize that she is wearing my coat.

Back to Nili's POV

I see a shadow past in the corner of my eye. I look around but there's no other than us. I become more alert. Srekk. I turn to see a man. He is aiming at Ori then shoot some arrows at Dwalin and Kìli's rock. I stare at him, we surely know each other. He stops aiming at the others after giving them a threat. Balin tries to reason with him about crossing us. He even promises double payment. Well, i left my coins at Rivendell, stupid me. We ride on his boat. I look over Kìli, his face is pale. I give an unsure and sympathy look at Fìli.

"It's not an ordinary arrow, it could contain poison seeing it was from an orc." I say almost a whisper.

"That's what i'm worried about." I hug him.

After a while i go and have a little talk with Bard. He tells me about his plan on how to sneak us in. As always there is a problem. One barrel was destroyed, there were fifteen barrels, now there's fourteen. He have a little moment of panic. I tell him it's alright, the master knows me anyway. It won't be a problem if i show up, i hope. We are getting closer to the town, but we need to stop for Bard's plan on how to hide the dwarves and Bilbo. I help Kìli in and then Fìli. He is so cute when he worries about me!

"It's okay, now get inside." I say hurrying him.

"Promise??"

"Promise."

He lowers his head just as Bard returns. The barrels are now filled with dwarves and fish! I sit down next to Fìli's barrel. I could say Dwalin is not very happy about this. Bard is doing something when a man and a few guards shows up. He tells two of the guards to empty the barrels, uh oh.

"...wouldn't it be your problem?"

Then the two guards stop throwing the fish back into the lake. Then we are on our way again. We stop and Bard starts to get the dwarves out. A boy runs toward us, he tells Bard that his house is being watched.

We sneak into his house through the toilet, disgusting but i've been to worse. A girl is giving us some clothes or blankets. So, Bard here finally have a family. I walk to Fìli and hug him.

"I told you it'll be okay." I kiss him on the cheek.

He kisses me back. After a while the dwarves are starting to ask about the weapons he promised. He walks outside and inside bringing a long thing, filled with the weapons of course. He opens it up, but there are no weapons. Just stuffs you use for fishing and crafting. What is this, a joke?

"You can not find better ones out of the city armory." Bard says.

"You know, you could have said that earlier." I say.

Thorin gathers us to make a plan to steal some weapons. Surely everyone agree. Almost everyone. Me myself is not paying that much attention. All i know is i have to keep on guard while Thorin, Kìli, Bofur, and Bilbo go in the armory. We leave when Bard goes out, his son is not much of a big deal.

Almost BotFA ^^ i think their moment in this chap is cute. Cuter than the other chaps before (ehehe). Maybe there wouldn't be an update in a short time coz my head is hurting bad, sorry. I'll try to write a chapter tho. So, what do guys think? I hope you all are enjoying reading
