The horse took off into the water which sent me flying backwards into the mud. I landed hard and everything went black.

My eyes fluttered open and i looked around. I was in a light blue room surrounded by horse trophies, medals, and statues. This wasnt in the forest or my house. In fact i'd never seen this place before. I didnt notice it before, but the boy who had yelled at me earlier was standing over me holding a cold rag to my head. I sat up quickly knocking the rag out of his hands and unto the floor. "Where the heck am i? Who are you? Why'd you have to yell like that and spook the horse? Huh? Why?" I had a million questions going through my head right now but i was way to exhausted to ask all of them. "Geez lady calm down. This is the trophie room. My name is John-Luke, but call me Luke for short. And im very protective of my horses so i..i didn't know what else to do," Luke replied.

I laid back down and glanced at my watch...6:30. I had been gone for an hour and a half. I had 30 minutes. I had to get back home soon.   "C'mon don't worry. You were only thrown from the horse. You didnt even get any injuries or scratches," Luke commented      "ONLY THROWN FROM A HORSE? You act as if that isn't even a bad thing," I said louder than i thought.      "Well it isn't. I've been thrown from horses many times," Luke said.  I glared into his eyes.     "Umm my dad made some hot chocolate...if...if you want some," he looked away from me and walked towards a doorway that led to a stair-case.   "Hot chocolate?" I asked.  He nodded.  I pulled myself up and followed him down the stairs and into a humongous kitchen with granite islands and diamond chandlers. They had a kitchen table made of wood with a black and white design on it. The table matched the chairs that were tucked under IT. The walls were a dark orange color. Kind of like the color of pumpkin pie.

'Wow! This is your house?' I asked. Luke nodded proudly. I noticed his dad standing by a stove that was burning fire beneath it. A shiny pot sat atop it with steam rising from the middle.  I sat down at their kitchen table and looked around.  Luke's dad turned off the stove and picked the pot up from its handle. He brought it over to the kitchen table and sat it down.  'Careful. It's hot," he warned us in a low voice. He brought two mugs over and poured the cocoa into the mugs. Then, he went inside a super big pantry and brought out a pack of marshmallows.   He sat them down on the table and and pulled out a chair beside Luke.  "So. I hear you fell of Aslen." the man said. Alsen? I guess that's his name. I nodded and took a sip of my cocoa. It stabbed at my tongue with heat and i winced.   "You okay?" Luke asked. I nodded even though i wasn't.

"I didn't get any injuries or scrapes," i said to change the subject back to fallling of the horse.   The man nodded.      "Well i should be getting home. I have to be there by 7:00," i said.    The man seemed to have a watch on,too. He looked down and got up from the table, "Well you better hurry cause you have five minutes."       i gasped. "It takes me ten minutes to get from the forest to my house if i'm running. I'm still to dizzy to run. It'll take me fifteen minutes,' i panicked.    "It'll be fine. I'll have Luke take you over on Aslen," he said.  Luke nodded and stood up. I followed along and stood up.   My shoes were still on and Lukes were, too.  Luke headed for the front door and urged me to follow.

We walked out and into the grass towards a barn. Luke unlatched the barn door and felt around for a light switch. He found it and flipped it on. The light flickered and turned on. All around me there were horses. Mini horses, shetland horses, Walking horses, everything you can think of...besides unicorns. We walked down the aisle and i looked at each of the horses. Their stables each had a plack hanging from it that read their name.   Ice, Diamond, Blaze, Coconut, Destin, Butter-cup, Chance, Cocoa. A bunch of different names. We finally came to a stall with a plack that read "Aslen."    There he was. Just standing there nibbling on a piece of hay. He looked up when Luke and i walked past and into a tack room full of bridles, saddles, pads, and girths.  There were little posts sticking out from the wall with each of the horses supplies.  The posts held stickers with each of the horses names on it. We walked until we got to a post that read "Aslen."    "I don't really think i need a saddle or bridle or anything. I do horse lessons so i can stay on pretty good,' i pointed out.    "Good point. I don't need anything either. I just thought maybe you did,' he said as he walked back out of the  door and towards Aslen's stall. He unlatched the latch that hung tightley to his stall.  Luke went in and attached a halter to Aslen. Luke handed me the halter and told me to guide Aslen where ever he went.  Luke started towards the open barn door but stopped right before exiting it.  He grabbed a halter from Diamond's stall and attached it to Diamond. He led Diamond out of the barn and towards a  latched gate. We came to a halt infront of it and Luke told me to go ahead and mount Aslen. I threw my leg over his left side and mounted.  After that Luke took off the halter and unhitched the gate.  "Don't go anywhere," he commanded. The he took of Diamond's halter and mounted him. He kicked Diamond's belly and he started a nice pace at a trot. I didn't kick Aslen's belly remembering back to when he took off. I gently leaned forward and squezed. He started to trot. I looked at my watch.  7:00.
