A Horse Named Aslen

I didn't feel much simpathy for the man. After all , he had tried to kip-nap me. I laughed and looked up at Aslen, " We tought him ,didn't we." Aslen nuzzled me cheek. "C'mon let's get you home," I grabbed a tuft of his mane and pulled myself up on his back. We trotted through the woods torwards Luke's house.

I un-mounted and opened the fence to Luke's backyard. I left Aslen and ran to the their front porch. As soon as I rang the doorbell Mr.Sims answered. "Julie! Com-come in. Are you alright?" He ushered me into the house and told me to sit in the living-room. "Actually I got to go to the bathroom. Where is it?" I asked. He pointed down the hall and said it was to the left. I quickly walked torward it and closed the door behind me. I didn't really have to go to the bathroom. It was just the expression on Mr.Sim's face that made me worried. I looked in the mirror and almost screamed.

My hair was poofed up like a witches would have been.I had smears across my face and my lip was bleeding. I quickly grabbed a tissue and put it under the faucet. After it was drenched with water I dabbed it around my face and over my lip. After five minutes of washing up I left the bathroom and sat down in the living room.

Mr.Sims came into the living room and sat down beside me ,"Luke is upstairs,but first tell me what happened. What took you so long to get over here. You got me worried because I recall Luke telling me that you said you'd be over in a second," he said. I sighed and explained the whole thing to him. When i was done he said, "Okay let me take you home and you catch up on your sleep. Then i'll call the police and show them the man." I got up and walked outside with Mr.Sims. When we walked to the back and he saw Aslen he gasped, "How'd he get here?"          

"Guess i forgot to tell you that Aslen saved my life. That's how i got off the pickup truck and away from the man," I said. Mr.Sims smiled,"That's my boy."
